What does everyone think of Hardin for a boy? I heard it recently and I really like it.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
ThirdElephant · 17/08/2021 19:51

Nope. One letter away from hard-on.

Paulinna · 17/08/2021 19:51

Hard ‘un. No. It doesn’t work in a British accent.

IsolaPribby · 17/08/2021 19:52

No 👎

SilverOtter · 17/08/2021 19:52

Oh noooooo! Definitely not, too like hardon😱

GingerbreadPlease · 17/08/2021 19:52

No

shouldistop · 17/08/2021 19:52

Awful. He'd be called hard on

DramaAlpaca · 17/08/2021 19:52

Errm, no. It's too close to 'hard on'. You can't do that to a child.

Touloser · 17/08/2021 19:52

Terrible.

Spudina · 17/08/2021 19:52

Have you been watching After??? Only works in the movie I’m afraid.

QueenofLouisiana · 17/08/2021 19:53

I thought the same as PPs- sorry. Being a teen boy is tough enough with inviting a nickname like that.

Hercisback · 17/08/2021 19:53

Hard on, no thanks.

Bancha · 17/08/2021 19:53

That would be cruel!

StrawberryMacaron · 17/08/2021 19:54

Really? I would never have made that connection. I'm not sure that it would be a big problem in real life though.

Well I do hope your surname is not Deep...

It really would be a problem.

Clearly it would be, given the replies. And fwiw I think it’s a terrible idea, due to the obvious association to ‘hard on’. Why would you want to do that to your child?

Of course it would. We are adults - can you imagine the kids Sad

hedgehogger1 · 17/08/2021 19:57

PumpkinKlNG · 17/08/2021 19:57

stealthninjamum · 17/08/2021 19:58

Sorry op I saw the thread title and instantly thought ‘hard on’.

FawnDrench · 17/08/2021 19:58

Gawd no - it's dreadful.

brokenbiscuitsx · 17/08/2021 19:59

I can hear the taunts now… Hardin has a hard on 🤣

AnnaSW1 · 17/08/2021 19:59

Only if you think you hate your child.

RevolvingPivot · 17/08/2021 19:59

Are you Asian op? I think I've heard of an Hardin before but if Christian no.

ofwarren · 17/08/2021 19:59
