Pip, Bruno, Caspian or Zebedee

Which do you prefer? (Spoiler alert: we LOVE unusual names.) Any nicknames for Bruno or Caspian that spring to mind? Or any other similar names you think we might like? Thanks!

Zebedee nn Zeb is excellent. Zeb Soanes presents the 6 o'clock news on R4 and does not seem to have any issues being taken seriously.

I like Bruno. Zebs nice I don't like Zebedee, though. It sounds like a name for a,cute baby zebra. . Zebediah might be a better option. I also think Casper is a,better alternative to Caspian. Pip is okay for Philip.

They are great names for goldfish. For a child not so much

I used to babysit for a Zebedee. He was lovely. As were his parents. Known as Zeb.

I love Pip but it's a bit nicknamey.

I like Bruno but it feels a like it should be a bully's name for some reason so I'm not 100%

I neither like nor dislike Caspian.

Bu is a good nick name for Bruno

Pip sounds like a nn.

Bruno and Caspien are both fine and I know young adults with those names.

Thanks for your feedback guys! We’re not going to name our baby a name in the top 10 (or even top 100 probably) so are ready for comments like some of the ones given here - and I did ask for preferences! Caspian and Pip probably front runners atm.

Not Zebedee. And Pip isn't a name - it's short for Philip.

Casper is the best of your bunch in my opinion, and I'm afraid I agree with the many PP who have said that Zebedee is a no. It will forever be synonymous with a springy puppet created under the influence of LSD.

I like Cassian instead of Caspian. Caspian reminds me of C.S Lewis.

Awful choices OP. Just pick a name you like and stop worrying about whether it’s in the top 100.

They're all nice but really dislike zebedee. I know someone who named their son that and I didn't know how to react

I quite like Caspian but much prefer Cassian (I know one irl with nn Cass)

With those names your baby will thank you when their an adult, nope I wouldn't choose any of those.

I actually love Zebedee but it's a bit out there.
Zephaniah, Sebastian or Zebadiah could be shortened to Zeb.

My fiance is Kasper and I would love it if we had a Kaspian or Caspian! Favourite name for a future son as it goes with his Dad's name nicely!

Pip is OK for a small child whose name is Philip, but not on its own.

Pip is soooo wet. LOVE Caspian and Bruno! Zebedee is quite cool too. I also heard Cassian recently which I like too

Zebedee a bit too Magic roundabout for me, but it will mean nothing to his future friends, so passable.
