That's all really. Middle name will probably be Maria..not that it matters much. Surname is 1 syllable.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 10/06/2021 13:13

neither, sorry

Sunny sounds like Sonny so a boy name to me anyway
don't like Lindy

so helpful😁

bonfireheart · 10/06/2021 13:14

Really don't like Lindy.
Sunny is just about OK but would assume it's a boy.

EssentialHummus · 10/06/2021 13:15

Hmm. Not a fan of either personally op, sorry. With Sunny make sure your surname doesn’t make it sound like an adjective - “Sunny London” or whatever.

MaMelon · 10/06/2021 13:18

I don't like either, sorry - just don't like Lindy and Sunny is heck of a lot to live up to if she's having an off day. It's (slightly) better than Lindy though.

SirVixofVixHall · 10/06/2021 13:18

I know a Lindy. She is in her seventies and v beautiful!

Mymapuddlington · 10/06/2021 13:22

Lindy I would assume is a nick name for Linda or a dance. Sunny sounds like sonny and will be a lifelong joke.

Raindropumbrella · 10/06/2021 13:22

Sunny

StokeHollyCross · 10/06/2021 13:22

Ty everyone, i totally understand people not being particularly fond of either. Good point re Sunny and adjective but our surname works fine. I know someone with the surname Demon and she said when she had her LOs they had to rule out lots of names she loved namely River

Elouera · 10/06/2021 13:23

I too would think Sunny was a boy, like the phrase 'sunny Jim'.

Lindy reminds me of Lindy Chamberlain- 'the dingo stole my baby'.

What do you like about the names? The Y ending?

What about Summer, Daisy, Rosey, Maisey?

StokeHollyCross · 10/06/2021 13:23

What do you all think of Linda?

OP posts:
Raindropumbrella · 10/06/2021 13:23

I would LOVE to meet a River Demon I have to say 😂

StokeHollyCross · 10/06/2021 13:24

Rosey and Maisey are silly.
Not the y endings that interest me.

StokeHollyCross · 10/06/2021 13:25

@raindropumbrella I know right.. missed opportunity 😂

Lindy is a great name. Sunny sounds like a boys name to me.

PiuVinoPerFavore · 10/06/2021 13:28

I know a girl called Sunny. It's a good name. I like Lindy. Not a fan of Linda

GiantToadstool · 10/06/2021 13:28

Sunny would expect a boy.

Lindy is pretty. I like Linda too.

Mymapuddlington · 10/06/2021 13:28

Linda sounds like a 50 year old who runs a market stall to me. Can’t imagine a baby Linda. What names do you like as Linda is very old fashioned and boring and Lindy/Sunny are quite unusual. Polar opposites really.

Antiqueanniesmagiclanternshow · 10/06/2021 13:28

It's not ' sunny jim' , it is Sonny Jim. Like when men call younger men ' son'

I think they're both awful sorry.

SirVixofVixHall · 10/06/2021 13:29

I like Linda. I know one Swedish Linda (30s) and one British Linda, who is 80.

Summertime21 · 10/06/2021 13:31

Sunny is a boy's name in my area and Lindy sounds like a nickname

LarkDescending · 10/06/2021 13:32

@SirVixofVixHall

I know a Lindy. She is in her seventies and v beautiful!
Me too! In my case she’s a much-loved relative, and so Lindy has great associations for me.
StokeHollyCross · 10/06/2021 13:33

@mymapuddlington I love Lindy and Sunny, not so keen on Linda but could be because I associate it with my mums age group. Just wondered what people thought of Linda.

OP posts:
StokeHollyCross · 10/06/2021 13:33

Lindy is my fave

OP posts:
ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 10/06/2021 13:34

I like Linda.
and you can easily use Lindy as a nickname

elenacampana · 10/06/2021 13:34

Sunny and Lindy sound like boys names to me and not very nice ones at that. Linda is just too out of date and wasn’t nice when it was in date.
