Is it too close to Olivia? Will she have to correct people all the time?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
porcelinaofthevastoceanss · 27/12/2020 12:25

Possible but I love it. Go for it.

RusholmeRuffian · 27/12/2020 12:28

I'm guessing you're not a fan of I Claudius or The Sopranos

bewlt · 27/12/2020 12:30

I like it but it does look like it's missing an O.

Would you try a different spelling such as Lyvia or Livvia?

Boboboo · 27/12/2020 12:30

@RusholmeRuffian I LOVE the sopranos and I did think about Tony's mum but I really like the name!

Hmm. Really not keen

cloudcett · 27/12/2020 12:31

I think Livia is a beautiful name

FestiveStuffing · 27/12/2020 12:31

Love it.

cittigirl · 27/12/2020 12:32

Not keen, sorry.

Sexnotgender · 27/12/2020 12:33

Sounds like Labia.

tsmainsqueeze · 27/12/2020 12:41

Sounds like low cholesterol butter .

HeadlessGummyBears · 27/12/2020 12:43

Livia is very close to Olivia and yet it is pretty...but I prefer Lydia to Livia.

M0mmyneedswine · 27/12/2020 13:17

I would assume it was a nickname for olivia

DecemberDiana · 27/12/2020 13:19

I liked it but think Olivia has become do popular that it may nowadays hard to distinguish it as a separate name.

How about Julia, Lydia or Libby?

Marcipex · 27/12/2020 13:20

It’s too close to Olivia, sorry. I agree it’s really pretty.

Adventing · 27/12/2020 13:21

She might have to correct people but it might be worth it, it's a lovely name

MissMarks · 27/12/2020 13:21

Sounds like a prescription medication

Jennygentle · 27/12/2020 13:25

I love it but watched I, Claudius as a kid. Livia was terrifying!
Lydia, Lucia?

DecemberDiana · 27/12/2020 13:26

Livia to me is Sian Phillips in I Claudius. It's a strong name with plenty of history.

Siw2020 · 27/12/2020 13:28

Go for it. Lovely name.

Northernsoullover · 27/12/2020 13:28

Beautiful but you are setting someone up with:
Can I take your name?
Livia.
Olivia?
No, Livia, no O.

olympicsrock · 27/12/2020 13:48

Some friends have a daughter named Livia. The first time I heard it I thought they said Olivia but once corrected no issues. Go for it....

Hoppinggreen · 27/12/2020 13:50

I like it, prefer Lydia though
That’s what I chose for DS before he was a boy

nauticant · 27/12/2020 13:50

It's got the Clavdivs problem for me too.

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 27/12/2020 13:52

I love Livia. Far prettier than Olivia, imo. Plus it's not a cutesy name - it'll suit her as an adult too.

Also love Lydia, which is surely due a comeback!

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 27/12/2020 13:54

I think it is lovely!
