Guessing game V!

Merry twixmas! Xmas Grin

We have reached thread 5(!) of the baby names Guessing Game.

This was the (brilliant) brain child of @scotstar back in March 2018. Smile

All are welcome, rules of this game are pretty straightforward - someone describes a name. Whoever solves the clues is then in charge of describing the next name. Simple! Make the clues as fiendish or straightforward as you like. Grin

Ellmau · 22/06/2021 00:18

None of those. Much more unusual.

Has an equally well known girlfriend.

Or Abel?

OP posts:
Ellmau · 22/06/2021 21:35

No to both.

He drives an expensive classic car rather fast.

Ellmau · 23/06/2021 17:44

Where are your guesses? Or should I say, wherefore are they?

finallychangedmyusername · 23/06/2021 18:20

Romeo!

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 23/06/2021 18:22

Alfa Romeo Grin🤣

OP posts:
Ellmau · 24/06/2021 18:58

Yes, Romeo.

Ellmau · 24/06/2021 18:59

Die for you, hopeless romantic, famous girlfriend and the final clue all to Romeo & Juliet.

The failed photo clue was supposed to be Romeo Beckham, who I mixed up with Brooklyn, hope that didn't put people off...

And yes, the car was Alfa Romeo.

Your turn!

finallychangedmyusername · 24/06/2021 21:27

Ah, I couldn't get the relative photo clue! Great clues. Grin

Here's another:

Name shared by: a man whose celebrated character will have you over for dinner, a former Downing Street occupant and two men famous for their companions: one with a commanding queen and the other with a fellow comedian/presenter.

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 26/06/2021 07:41

The commanding queen is Shakespearean.

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 02/07/2021 13:12

You'd probably do well to decline the dinner invite.

LadyGAgain · 03/07/2021 12:28

This last clue made me think of Hannibal!

LadyGAgain · 03/07/2021 12:29

Ah!!! Anthony?!

LadyGAgain · 03/07/2021 12:30

Anthony Hopkins played Hannibal
Tony Blair
Cleopatra
Ant or Dec

Fab clues. Sorry it took me so long! Dammit will I have to think of another clue?

finallychangedmyusername · 03/07/2021 13:19

Yes! Well played @LadyGAgain, you got them all!

Celebrated character will have you over for - an unusual, to say the least (!) - dinner - Hannibal Lector, portrayed by Sir Anthony Hopkins.

A former Downing Street occupant: Anthony ("Tony") Blair.

Companion of a commanding queen: Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra.

Companion of a fellow comedian/presenter: Anthony McPartlin of Ant and Dec.

Another clue please! Grin

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 03/07/2021 17:22

Yes! Sorry I was a bit lazy and you're a great guesser. I shall put more thought in if I guess another correctly Grin

finallychangedmyusername · 03/07/2021 19:20

Haha, I'm just lucky! Grin Will have a think about a new clue/name.

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 03/07/2021 21:53

She has a hilltop residence she shares with Jen and she's, hic (!) very berry nice.

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 07/07/2021 08:50

She shares a possible nickname with that of a film.

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 07/07/2021 22:15

Another nickname: She may fall after May.
