DH asked me to post this thread lol , because we cannot decide and he is so sure his favs are just of better taste. We don't know the sex yet. He likes the names I like , and I like his. But "my" names just seem more beautiful. PLEASE DECIDE FOR US :

Harper or Mary

Are you looking for a Jewish name, OP, because most of your choices seem to indicate this? Hate Harper and Levi. Daniel is OK but boring, Mary due a comeback (or Maria. Marie or Marianne).

Overall I'd choose Matthew and Hannah.

I like Mani spelt with an I short for Emmanuel, and Hannah, Zoe and Leah from your girls list.

The others (Tristan, Zoe, Leah) are fine but I wouldn’t choose them.

The odd one out is Harper, which a celeb-copy name (yes, I know, Harper Lee but everyone will think Beckham).

The other names are all lovely, classic names.

For me, both those boy names are great. Both Biblical, Levi sounds more Jewish to my ear (though obviously Daniel could just as well be and both could be Christian too). Levi has a 'cool' edge.

Mary is old-fashioned, classic, simple, possibly too simple. I'd be more likely to choose Marianne or something similar.

Harper always reminds me of harpy, which isn't great, obviously... Mary isn't brilliant either but I like Mari (Marr-ee) Definitely Daniel or Dan over Levi which is always jeans to me!
