Do you prefer my or husband's favourite name ?

DH asked me to post this thread lol , because we cannot decide and he is so sure his favs are just of better taste. We don't know the sex yet. He likes the names I like , and I like his. But "my" names just seem more beautiful. PLEASE DECIDE FOR US :

I like Levi but I only chose Mary because I don’t like Harper.

If you want a traditional type girls’ name like Mary, how about Alice, Clare, Charlotte, Emily, Grace, Anna, Eve, Etc.

I'd only go with Levi if you're religious (although I love it, but it's become too common.)

Don't like either of the girl choices. If Harper is a celebrity baby name then I'd stay well away.

Daniel and Mary but to be honest I can think of better names, I don't like any bible names so Levi is out and Harper is a bit Beckham nouveau riche.

But they are two very different types of names one classic and one modern.
Mumsnet often prefers classic to modern, maybe there are names that are less different that you both could love.
