Do you prefer my or husband's favourite name ?

DH asked me to post this thread lol , because we cannot decide and he is so sure his favs are just of better taste. We don't know the sex yet. He likes the names I like , and I like his. But "my" names just seem more beautiful. PLEASE DECIDE FOR US :

Levi or Daniel
Harper or Mary

Tristan - hate. Very "upper class prat" to me
Matthew - nice and normal
Austin - like it
Manny - nickname, easy to take the mick out of, reminds me of the character in modern family

Zoe - pretty
Hannah - nice and normal like Matthew
Leah - my favourite
Cadence - describes music, running, or horses. Not a name

Yes it's my first baby , but he has 2 from a previous relationship. I love his kids but GOD THEIR NAMES ARE AWFUL

Then to be blunt, its your vagina that'll literally be broken, not your husband's and not anonymous Mumsnetters. If it's a boy call him the name you love (Levi) opposed to one's he likes Grin

Of your original names I really like Levi, Daniel and Mary. Hard to choose between Levi and Daniel but if pushed I'd choose Levi.

Of the second group I like Austin and Zoe. I like Tristan and Cadence too but not sure I'd want to be called that iyswim. Hannah and Leah seem a bit generic and can't stand Manny!

Tbh I really, really dislike Levi but if your heart and fanny tell you that's the one, and he's had two kids to name already, I'd say go for it. Reluctantly! Grin

It's from the bible. It's a Hebrew name. It means joined in harmony.
