Cute! But also serious for when he's a grown up. I approve!

Joolsin · 21/10/2020 19:12

Yes, you are completely mad! Wink It's the grrr sound, don't like it, sounds angry!!

MikeUniformMike · 21/10/2020 19:14

I like it.

LaMadrilena · 21/10/2020 19:15

I like it too. It's noble.

Coffeeandaride · 21/10/2020 19:15

Your not mad, I like it. Potential nicknames Ed and Eddy IMO are nice too.

LightDrizzle · 21/10/2020 19:16

Ooh! I like it!

MrsBrunch · 21/10/2020 19:16

@RosieLemonade

Am I mad?
Why? Do you think there's something wrong with the name?
DartmoorDoughnut · 21/10/2020 19:16

The dragon?!

Cute but middle name maybe?

FreiasBathtub · 21/10/2020 19:16

I love it!

K00kiEe · 21/10/2020 19:17

It's a brilliant name.

SleepingStandingUp · 21/10/2020 19:17

Like it. Can be Eddie if Edgar feels too big for him

CloudPop · 21/10/2020 20:01

Excellent name.

PoodleMoth · 21/10/2020 20:04

Love it!

areyoubeingserviced · 21/10/2020 20:06

I really like it Op.

Ellmau · 21/10/2020 20:07

Great name.

LaTomatina · 21/10/2020 20:08

I don't like it. Because it makes me think of eggs, and the twatty boy from the Famous Five.

SpeedofaSloth · 21/10/2020 20:08

Lovely name Smile

Kanaloa · 21/10/2020 20:09

Cute. Reminds me of Edgar Frog.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 21/10/2020 20:12

I love it but it does remind me of the dreadful Sticks and their son Edgar (Five Run Away Together I think) and Edgar Allan Poe. Lovely name, underused, Eddie is nice too.

Cotswoldmama · 21/10/2020 20:21

Love it

yeOldeTrout · 21/10/2020 20:23

I always liked it & would have had it for DC - but DH not a fan. 15+ yrs ago MNers would have said awful things about it. I don't like Edwin or Edward at all, for no specific reason.

Biscuitburglar · 21/10/2020 20:25

I like it, but it does make me immediately think of Edgar the Excitable dragon from last year’s John Lewis Christmas ad. I’d still use it though.

Cheesypea · 21/10/2020 20:27

Makes me think of eggs too.

bakingdemon · 21/10/2020 20:28

Makes me think of:

  1. The good son in King Lear
  2. The butler in the Aristocats
LaTomatina · 21/10/2020 20:28

The dreadful Sticks! Thanks, Lobsterquadrille2 that was who I meant!
