I feel like we have been round and round in circles but last night these two came up as new contenders for DC3... thoughts?

steppemum · 17/09/2020 10:15

wow.
neither
sorry

But especially not Malcolm

Burnthurst187 · 17/09/2020 10:26

There's no decision, Lewis

Malcolm, seriously?

FloorLamp · 17/09/2020 10:47

Lewis. Any Malcolm's I've ever met are old men!

20viona · 17/09/2020 10:49

Both terrible sorry.

YukoandHiro · 17/09/2020 10:57

Lewis.

ApolloandDaphne · 17/09/2020 10:58

Lewis. It is a very popular name here in Scotland. Not so much Malcolm.

MikeUniformMike · 17/09/2020 12:00

Malcolm

SSW101 · 17/09/2020 12:42

I like Malcolm. People had the same 'it's an old man name' reaction to Arthur, Albert and Frederick and they are all the rage now. Times change. Tastes change. These things always work in cycles.

HarryLimeFoxtrot · 17/09/2020 12:44

I like Malcolm. I grew up living next door to a Malcolm who was my age, so it’s never seemed like an old man name to me.

still really really dislike Arthur, Albert and Frederick.

Alfie and Freddie just about OK.

Malcolm not in the same vibe. It is hideous

Gatelodge · 17/09/2020 12:59

If you're giving birth to a middle-aged Rotarian who reads the Telegraph and refers to 'my good lady wife', go right ahead with Malcolm.

Quercus3 · 17/09/2020 12:59

Aw I kind of love Malcolm! Lewis is nice too.

PlateTectonics · 17/09/2020 13:00

I prefer Lewis.

Lavenderblues · 17/09/2020 13:07

I like them both but prefer Malcom. It's more interesting and memorable.

Emma1962 · 17/09/2020 13:11

My dads called Malcolm so I wouldn’t chose it! I like Lewis.

SadSack39 · 17/09/2020 13:14

Lewis doesnt have anything to it.. too meh

Odile13 · 17/09/2020 13:14

I really like Lewis, it was on my list for boys names.

Grufallisfriends · 17/09/2020 13:18

Love Malcom. Cool and not overused!

Lewis is ok. A little bland only comparison.

Spied · 17/09/2020 13:20

Lewis. No contest.

Snufkins · 17/09/2020 13:21

Neither.

Gatelodge · 17/09/2020 13:26

I'm astonished at the love for Malcolm from some posters. I would group Malcolm with Geoffrey, Keith, Nigel, Bernard, Neville.

Malcolm is your bank manager, the chair of your local Conservative Association, the red-faced man propping up the bar of your village pub, airing his opinions about 'lady golfers' and advocating the death penalty and the return of compulsory national service.

Rafflesway · 17/09/2020 13:29

Lewis definitely!

I have a 70 plus relative called Malcolm and he is and has always been an obnoxious pig. 😡

I almost agree with you, but I adore the name Bernard.

It reminds me of the Alfie books, the naughty boy was Bernard!

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 17/09/2020 13:57

I really like Malcolm 🤷🏼‍♀️

It’s the natural successor to Arthur. Sorry folks.
