Thoughts on Phoebe? It’s most likely our girls name choice but want opinions as I’m not 100% sold

Beautiful name. Only issue is people will often have trouble spelling it however in my experience people spell even the most straightforward of names wrong so it doesn't really matter!

Great name, might be a bit biased though.

Ours is one of only 2 at her school. She's 11 now and a bubbly ray of sunshine, so it still really suits her. Only really gets shortened to Phoebs so no awful nicknames to contend with.

I love it, but then I have one, so I'm biased. The spellings have been fun over the years, but we just laugh it off and move on. Beautiful name for a beautiful girl 😁

Love it! It was on our list but I know of 2 others so didn’t want to go for it. One of the little girls I know gets Bee as a nickname and it really suits her.

Everyone seems to like this name. I just hear feeble every time I hear it. I really dislike it!

Great name (not biased at all ) smallest DD has the name and we only know of 1 other so not a hugely popular name in our area. Spelling it can be tricky but family and friends have got it now she’s 3.

Thanks good to see all the positives! I’m not sure what’s holding me back, it might just be that we used my name I’ve always thought I’d call a little girl for DD1! We’ve had to find a name this time 😂

I'm completely biased too! I have to admit, I spent many years thinking it didn't suit her, or that I actually didn't like it. But I now have no regrets. Yes people spell it wrong all the time, and now she is older we get Feebz, but she doesn't mind that either. There are no other girls in her immediate school groups called Phoebe either.

Yep it is a MN fav but I really can't warm to 2 syllables that are horrible sounding.

Mine is nearly 19. I have never regretted our choice.

Love the name Phoebe...my youngest would have been if female and that was 20 years ago !
