Nah Grin

Smartanimal · 02/04/2020 19:30

Brain. Nah.

Jboure · 02/04/2020 19:31

No

GoulashSoup · 02/04/2020 19:31

No

CuppaZa · 02/04/2020 19:32

Nah. Don’t see how any baby born could look like a Brian

devildeepbluesea · 02/04/2020 19:33

I quite like it! Bit then I did have a very passionate fling with an Irishman called Brian at uni 😂

TheSheepofWallSt · 02/04/2020 19:34

Baby Brian!!!

“Brian needs his nappy changed”
“Darling can you hear Brian crying?”
“Brian needs breastfeeding”

No.

They all make the baby sound like a middle aged, quite paunchy little man Going Through Something.

PlantPotting · 02/04/2020 19:35

Brain 🧠

No

flippityflobberty · 02/04/2020 19:36

Nope

WomanIsTaken · 02/04/2020 19:36

Oh, c'mon, Brian is great! I've taught some great Brians from different parts of the world (China, the Philippines and South Africa), and it has really changed my perception of the name.

grandmasterstitch · 02/04/2020 19:38

Fine as a middle name. Although my cat is called Brian so I wouldn't

Almahart · 02/04/2020 19:39

No

Badtasteflump · 02/04/2020 19:40

No it's not a baby name at all - although obviously if you were born around 1940 it was. I really like the names Briany and Briana though - are you definitely having a boy?

Duchessofblandings · 02/04/2020 19:41

He might become a very naughty boy.

RonSwansonsMustacheComb · 02/04/2020 19:41

I prefer Bryan. Nothing wrong with it as a name.

Badtasteflump · 02/04/2020 19:42

Brian is a perfect cat name! I'm picturing a big fat grumpy ginger Tom:)

user1493494961 · 02/04/2020 19:42

Make sure he's got a couple of comfy cardies.

ofwarren · 02/04/2020 19:43

Nooo, it's really not a nice sound.
It's a bit like Gary or Martin.

AgeLikeWine · 02/04/2020 19:44

Excellent name.

bleepbleepbla · 02/04/2020 19:44

Poor kid

MikeUniformMike · 02/04/2020 19:45

I like it.
I'm not keen on the Bryan spelling.

Toilenstripes · 02/04/2020 19:47

Better for a cat, as others have mentioned.

pinkbluetrees · 02/04/2020 19:49

Just no!!! I don't get that name. Even in its day it's awful surely. And changing the spelling won't make one blind bit of difference.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 02/04/2020 19:51

I think it's lovely and definitely unusual now. I had a friend in high school called Brian, it was uncommon then but it's almost unique now, I suspect... Go for it!!
