My waters broke late last night, no contractions yet, being induced at 3pm if I don't start so baby will be here either today or tomorrow.

We are stuck between 3 first names and 4 middle names.

Rosemary, Rosalind and Josephine are the first names.

First middle name will be Maple or Willow. [trees]

Second middle name will be Mere (only with Willow not Maple) or Lake [bodies of water]

Rosemary Willow Lake
Rosemary Willow Mere
Rosalind Maple Lake
Rosalind Willow Lake
Rosalind Willow Mere
Josephine Willow Lake
Josephine Willow Mere
Josephine Maple Lake

Honestly 2 middle names is over the top! But all the first names are lovely. I would go with Rosalind Willow.

TwitcherOfCurtains · 05/02/2020 12:29

You're not really serious with the 2 middle names, are you?Shock Incredibly tacky, especially with the names you are intending to use together.

Stick to one middle name. Rosalind Willow is pretty.

CoalCraft · 05/02/2020 12:30

Rosalind Willow would be my pick.

Congrats!

kerryleigh · 05/02/2020 12:32

First names are all lovely.
I love Willow, Maple sounds male to me [might be my mother tongue influence here]
Mere - "used to emphasise how small or insignificant someone or something is"
Lake - masculine - see same reason as for Maple
2 middle names - too much

itmsylifeitsnowornever · 05/02/2020 12:38

My three other daughters have 2 middle names -
first middle is a tree (Aspen, Rowan, Holly)
second middle is a body of water (Bay, River and Brook)
Their first names are Matilda, Annabelle and Beatrice.

So yes, I am serious about two middle names the ones we've chosen.

Josephine Willow. No second middle name.

myplateisfullenoughthanks · 05/02/2020 12:40

Rosalind Willow Mere and have as many names as you like. She is your baby.

FWIW My DD has 2 middle names and 1 of them is hyphenated. It is frequently commented on in a favourable way

Stabbitha · 05/02/2020 12:42

Just seen your update about the second middle name. In that case is go with

Josephine Willow Spring.

Lake and Mere I don't like but that's just personal taste.

amazedmummy · 05/02/2020 12:44

I don't hate any of them but I think my favourite is Rosalind Willow Mere.

MrsMozartMkII · 05/02/2020 12:44

Your baby. Your choice. Very few people will ever know all the names, and anyway it's nowt to do with anyone else.

Rosalind Willow Lake.

Congrats and I hope all goes well lass.

tiggertogger · 05/02/2020 12:47

Jesus, hopefully it's mad pregnancy hormones which may disappear in a couple of days 🤞🏻 These are actual humans you're naming- they are only your cutesy playthings for such a short period of their life, give them a break.

jackstini · 05/02/2020 12:48

Rosalind Willow Mere out of those

Rosalind Laurel Marine as another option?

Alyvia & Alani Ayla or Ilana are alternative pretty tree names

Treescaper · 05/02/2020 13:40

Huh I don’t get some of the comments on here, lots of people have two middle names??

Anyway my favourite is Rosemary Willow Mere.

badg3r · 05/02/2020 14:05

I remember your previous thread - much prefer mere and lake to harbour and marina!

My favourites are rosemary willow mere or rosemary willow lake.

badg3r · 05/02/2020 14:07

By the way I love the middle name pattern with your older girls. In my experience nobody looks at middle names but I think it's a lovely tradition for them to share.

user1493494961 · 05/02/2020 14:08

Rosalind Willow Mere.

fizzyheart · 05/02/2020 14:13

I agree with a pp

Josephine Willow Spring

Josephine and willow are two lovely ladies I know. So I have positive thoughts regarding those names.

BaronessBomburst · 05/02/2020 14:18

I like Josephine Willow Mere.
I think it's beautiful.
And good luck with the induction! Flowers

PandaCat · 05/02/2020 14:21

Josephine Willow as the first two names, not sure on either of options for the third name, are there any others you could use?

Caspianberg · 05/02/2020 14:21

Rosemary Maple

I'm sorry but not a huge fan of Lake or Mere.

Water based names maybe: Coral, Cordelia, Lynn, Nori, Ocean, Marina, Raine, Delphine, Daria, Maria/Marian

Rosemary Maple Raine?
Rosemary Maple Maria?

Callimanco · 05/02/2020 14:23

How about Ocean for the body of water? A mere is a man made lake afaik, a bit like calling her "canal" and Lake just doesn't really work imo.

Rosalind Willow Ocean?

EssentialHummus · 05/02/2020 14:25

Rosalind Willow Mere and have as many names as you like. She is your baby.

This for me too. All the best Flowers

EugeniaGrace · 05/02/2020 14:27

Another vote for Josephine Willow Mere

userabcname · 05/02/2020 14:30

Rosalind Willow Mere

Mamabear88 · 05/02/2020 17:30

Another vote for Rosalind Willow Mere from me. But i'm also not keen on 2 middle names.
