Blakesley yes or no
YourOpinionIsNoted · 24/11/2019 17:34
Hell no.
Floralnomad · 24/11/2019 17:34
No
Gazelda · 24/11/2019 17:35
No. Apart from anything, it's very hard to say out loud.
onthecoins · 24/11/2019 17:35
Awful.
Steamfan · 24/11/2019 17:36
Puts me in mind of Pugsley
Loneranger14 · 24/11/2019 17:37
Omg back to drawing board then I think
MrsFoxPlus4Again · 24/11/2019 17:37
Do you mean Blakely? Blake is much better and less of an mouthful
00100001 · 24/11/2019 17:38
No. Looks like a typo if Blakeley.
nitgel · 24/11/2019 17:38
On the buses
Thoughtlessinengland · 24/11/2019 17:38
There was a thread recently on Blakeley that rightly saw the OP dissuaded. Blakesley is even worse.
Northernlurker · 24/11/2019 17:39
Under no circumstances, do you have a temperature?
LolaSmiles · 24/11/2019 17:39
Absolutely not. It sounds silly.
Aquamarine1029 · 24/11/2019 17:39
Yeah, it's really bad.
Practicalmagico · 24/11/2019 17:40
Oh my god that is horrific. I’m sorry but I’m laughing
Antigonads · 24/11/2019 17:40
Can you get a few more letters in?
Biscuitsneeded · 24/11/2019 17:41
Awful. I hate surnames used as first names but even worse if it's unpronounceable. Why not just Blake (which is still horrible but at least people can say it)? Sorry to be so blunt OP but this is a person not place name.
Loneranger14 · 24/11/2019 17:49
I really like it but DP doesn't better than bloody neveah
DramaAlpaca · 24/11/2019 17:50
Awful.
DivGirl · 24/11/2019 17:51
Christ. No.
SwampOfDeath · 24/11/2019 17:52
My friend's son is Blake. Nice, solid and puts one in mind of the great William Blake.
CodenameVillanelle · 24/11/2019 17:52
No no and thrice no. Nevaeh almost as bad.
CodenameVillanelle · 24/11/2019 17:53
What do you like about it? Is it the difficult to pronounce random S in the middle? The fact that your child wouldn't be able to pronounce it let alone spell it until they are 12? That nobody will ever know how to spell it and they will he spelling over the phone for their entire lives?
You're naming a person, not a pet
Jj2431 · 24/11/2019 17:54
Terrible and so is nevaeh
Spied · 24/11/2019 17:56
Blake- ok.
Blakesley- Nevaeh!
sue51 · 24/11/2019 18:01
It doesn't sound like a first name. How about Brooke or Blaire - anything but Blakesley.
