No!

GoldishLeafs · 24/11/2019 18:12

Go with Blake! Then use Blakes as nickname.

lljkk · 24/11/2019 18:14

It's tolerable I just think there's nicer names out there.
Spelling could vary, I'm a fan of boring names for easy spelling.

RossPoldark · 24/11/2019 18:14

Are we talking about a boy or girl here? It's hideous for both but for a girl it is unforgivable

OverByYer · 24/11/2019 18:15

Dreadful

AfterSchoolWorry · 24/11/2019 18:15

It's so, so bad.

dontalltalkatonce · 24/11/2019 18:15

No. Sounds made up and awkward.

NetballHoop · 24/11/2019 18:18

Blakesley is the surname of a family I know. All their marriages (of the ones I have met) have fallen apart.

It's a no from me.

Pieceofpurplesky · 24/11/2019 18:30

I have taught a Bexley which sounds much better I know it's a place but she shortened it to Bex.

Blakesley and Neveah are awful names. I teach a few Neveahs. It's sounds odd when said out loud.

Whoops75 · 24/11/2019 18:32

Awful OP

otterturk · 24/11/2019 18:44

Not a name

Thetimetravelerswife · 24/11/2019 19:06

No!!

aibutohavethisusername · 24/11/2019 23:03

No

SumAndSubstance · 24/11/2019 23:49

There’s a whole world of names away from Blakesley and Nevaeh.

Treaclespongeandcustard · 24/11/2019 23:51

Nope

Abouttoblow · 24/11/2019 23:53

It's not even a word, never mind a name.

TiceCream · 24/11/2019 23:55

Haha it made me think of Pugsley too!

BonBon411 · 25/11/2019 02:23

Sorry the name is awful

dreichwinter · 25/11/2019 03:05

Not for me, Blake seems a nicer version of this.

Wallywobbles · 25/11/2019 03:24

I grew up there. Or there's about. It's a village in Northamptonshire.

Whattodoabout · 25/11/2019 12:00

Horrible. I remember Blake and other names like Mason and Tyler being fashionable a few years ago. Surnames don’t make nice first names.

Blakesly? Is just made up.

CravingCheese · 25/11/2019 12:12

No.
You mentioning Nevaeh (also a firm no from me, btw) seems to indicate that you are expecting a girl.

Blair and Blake are boy's names (to me) but they would work.

Or how about Morgan, Alex, Alexis, Nina, Annora, Honor, Heaven, Noelle, Rowan, Brooke, Robyn, Avery, Tamar, Mical, Audrey, Charlie, Rory, Maryn, Maryse, Portia or Quinn?

percheron67 · 25/11/2019 17:32

OK as a surname.

MrsNoMopp · 25/11/2019 18:02

Assuming baby is a girl, here are a few other short-ish names...

Naomi
Bethany
Olivia
Lucy
Maisie

DLaderBeal · 25/11/2019 20:20

Not keen, sorry.

How about Everly? Or Hadley?
