That's a good list. But if that's final choices, you haven't narrowed it down much yet!

FWIW, from that list my favourites are Xanthe, Elodie and Valeria. But they are all good names. Maybe it will depend what she looks like when she arrives.

I like Maeve, Elowen, Elodie, Violet and Valeria. Not keen on the others.

Elodie and violet are the ones I like most but if I'm honest I don't like any of them.

Xanthe or Elodie.

Gentian is really awful. 'Gents'...

I'm not a fan of any of them, tbh. I like Violet but it is very popular these days.

Maeve, Ianthe and Elodie are my favourites.

I really dislike Fleur.

Valeria is my favourite.
Elodie and Violet are also nice.

Valeria is lovely and I’ve never heard it before so I’d go for that.

I’m probably biased as I have an Elodie but it’s the only one on your list I like. Possibly like Elowan as well but that’s the first time I’ve heard the name so not quite sure yet!

Maeve the rest are Jilly Cooper characters

Gentian, Ianthe - I don't like either of these and wouldn't know how to pronounce them
