Lumi? (Loo-me)?

It's the Finnish word for snow and I think it's beautiful!

I can see her being called Loopy Lumi at school, I'm sorry but it's the first thing that came into my head.

It makes me think of my sunrise alarm clock (which, to be fair, is spelt differently).

I worked with a lady called Lumi, short for Luminata. She sometimes went by Lulu too.

I don't hate it, but it isn't it also the name of a phone make? I think it could be quite pretty, but does have teasing potential, there again so does virtually every name if you think about it enough.

OP it does sound like a brand name for lightbulbs. If in the UK it would likely be shortened to Lou.

Seriously? It's might be nice in Finnish but over here no. Just no. Too many associations like halloumi, lunatic, light alarm clocks etc.
