What do you think of Jude for a boy?

We are pregnant with our first baby and find out the gender tomorrow. We have Evelyn for a girl, and Jude for a boy. What are your opinions on Jude?

Love it!

It was my first choice but exDP hated it saint jude is the patron saint of lost and hopeless causes (used to pray for his intercession often!) and I felt like having a baby really was the thing that made me get my shit together- because I was on a v dark path when I fell pregnant.
DS isn’t a Jude now, very different name, but still smile when I come across a baby Jude.

I have a Jude he's 16. To be honest I've not come across another in person (we live in rural pembrokeshire). I do wish I named him his middle name which is in honour of my cat

I actually prefer it for a boy than I do for a girl.

I like it. Maybe some will think of it as an abbreviation of Judith and therefore a girl's name. But I think it's a good one.

I like it but until recently i would have thought it was too religious.

I know a Jude and it's a lovely name but they face a lifetime of having 'Hey Jude' sung at them daily 😂
