Spencer sounds American.

essayessay · 06/05/2019 23:40

Or Francis...Diana’s middle name - and I think her mum’s name? - was Frances.

Smoliver · 07/05/2019 00:32

I think Spencer will be in the name somewhere, whether it be a first or middle name, especially with it being Diana's maiden name.

Strokethefurrywall · 07/05/2019 00:42

I would love if they named him Spencer! 😍
My brothers name!

notangelinajolie · 07/05/2019 00:55

Sebastian
Alexander
Alfred
Albert
Arthur

Tavannach · 07/05/2019 01:03

or Charles, but can you have two Prince Charles at the same time?

gokartdillydilly · 07/05/2019 01:04

Kermit?

Beeziekn33ze · 07/05/2019 01:11

Clive - as the royal sprog’s parents allegedly spent a lot of time at Cliveden.

desparate4sleep · 07/05/2019 01:17

Why are people saying that it wont be James?

MrsFoxPlus4 · 07/05/2019 01:35

Kev or davey 😂

managedmis · 07/05/2019 01:35

Invictus

SparkleGem · 07/05/2019 01:42

Italian name..
Luca. I'm sure, just have a feeling.

TenSheets · 07/05/2019 01:49

@desparate4sleep because it has long been rumoured that James Hewitt is Harry's actual dad.

patchisagoodpup · 07/05/2019 02:10

Why are there so many suggestions of Alexander? I admit I am ignorant when it comes to the royal family.

mathanxiety · 07/05/2019 02:28

Maybe John as there was a previous Prince John who died young and also Johnny Spencer and many others of this name in the Spencer family..

Is Edward out of the running altogether?
Richard?
Christian?

Francis? There are a few among Diana's ancestors and Frances was her middle name.

mathanxiety · 07/05/2019 02:29

I am sort of hoping they will go completely off piste though.

MercyBodle · 07/05/2019 03:03

I reckon
John/Jack
Magnus
Rufus
Sebastian
Edmund/Edgar/Ted/Teddy
Felix
Leo

Something traditional but with a cool edge.

KingHenrysCodpiece · 07/05/2019 03:37

Maximillian
Robert
Victor - male equivalent of Victoria
Frederick
Solomon

Graphista · 07/05/2019 04:02

"Spencer would be perfect, a bit of an American feel with a nod to Harry's maternal family." Totally agree.

"but can you have two Prince Charles at the same time?" Correct me if I'm wrong but he won't be a prince I don't think as not directly in line for the crown?

I think they'll go traditional but rare,

I'd love aethelred! Eadred?

They could go Harold as a royal name with nn Harry but not Henry?

Hopefully not Richard.

To the pp who suggested eamon - I really can't see an Irish name being allowed.

Yes to an African name they both love Africa. Personally I think something like Benjamin Sussex or Frank Sussex would be nice, or an American name like Parker Sussex or Jayden Sussex, Hudson Sussex or Jackson Sussex or even Cooper Sussex. Can’t wait to hear. Thanks

ItsalmostSummer · 07/05/2019 04:13

.. and no idea why it put “thanks” there. Maybe my phone thinks I’m putting in an order for the royal name Hmm
