So, here it is, the fourth(!!!) Guessing Game baby names thread. Shock

All credit to @scotstar for creating the game, back in March 2018. Can't believe how far we've come!

Previous threads here:

1: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3189874-guessing-game

2: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3207745-Guessing-game-II

3: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3262724-Guessing-game-III?pg=1â„´=

The game is simple. Guess the name the poster is describing, then it's your turn! Make the clues as fiendish as you like. Grin

All are welcome to join in! @FintyTin, @Ladywillpower, @LadyGAgain and @DuggeeHugs, come join! (Plus others I've forgotten)

This old German name opened Pandora's box in 1929. Her royal connections meant that she waltzed off to one of the Channel Islands with the Doctor.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter has guessed Clara!

Corina? Coralie? Coraline?

OP posts:
Ellmau · 20/04/2020 15:16

Further away again.

LadyGAgain · 21/04/2020 12:48

Could we have another clue @Ellmau as I think we are just anagramming Coronation Grin

Ellmau · 21/04/2020 13:50

Crowned in Latin.

finallychangedmyusername · 21/04/2020 14:45

Cortana? Behind the name says it's a name!

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 21/04/2020 19:22

Coronatus?

Ellmau · 21/04/2020 21:11

No. Try female.

LadyGAgain · 21/04/2020 21:31

Coronatia

LadyGAgain · 21/04/2020 21:32

Eek already a guess. This is tough.

Ladywillpower · 22/04/2020 05:49

Coronia?

finallychangedmyusername · 22/04/2020 07:39

Coronatius?

OP posts:
Ellmau · 22/04/2020 17:21

No. One of the earlier guesses was one letter away...

Ellmau · 22/04/2020 17:22

Actually two of them.

finallychangedmyusername · 22/04/2020 17:28

Curtana? (If I don't get this, it'll be curtains for me.... ho ho ho) Grin

Or Corona?

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 22/04/2020 17:28

Oops, not Corona, @Ladywillpowerhas guessed that already

OP posts:
Ellmau · 22/04/2020 17:38

No.

LadyGAgain · 22/04/2020 19:16

Coronati

BurtonHouse · 22/04/2020 19:20

Coronita

Ladywillpower · 22/04/2020 19:21

Coronata?

Ellmau · 22/04/2020 22:14

YEs, Coronata.

Obviously you got the coronation clue easily, but I admit quite an obscure name. I saw it once in a baby name book, and there are a handful of entries on freebmd.

Ellmau · 22/04/2020 22:15

And obviously no one would pick it now bc of coronavirus even if there was another coronation in the near future.

finallychangedmyusername · 22/04/2020 22:51

Well done @Ladywillpower!

OP posts:
Ladywillpower · 22/04/2020 23:28

Phew! Well that was definitely a team effort.
I will fire up the little grey cells & be back with a new clue tomorrow.

Ladywillpower · 25/04/2020 07:49

This cat may be a legendary songstress!

LadyGAgain · 25/04/2020 10:03
