So, here it is, the fourth(!!!) Guessing Game baby names thread. Shock

All credit to @scotstar for creating the game, back in March 2018. Can't believe how far we've come!

Previous threads here:

1: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3189874-guessing-game

2: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3207745-Guessing-game-II

3: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3262724-Guessing-game-III?pg=1â„´=

The game is simple. Guess the name the poster is describing, then it's your turn! Make the clues as fiendish as you like. Grin

All are welcome to join in! @FintyTin, @Ladywillpower, @LadyGAgain and @DuggeeHugs, come join! (Plus others I've forgotten)

Right, these are all the names we've described so far...

And since @Ladywillpower correctly guessed @FintyTin's last clue, this is @Ladywillpower**'s latest clue:

This old German name opened Pandora's box in 1929. Her royal connections meant that she waltzed off to one of the Channel Islands with the Doctor.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter has guessed Clara!

Yes hi @MadameJosephine are you happy to set your clue?

finallychangedmyusername · 16/04/2020 18:37

No reply from @MadameJosephine Sad.

@LadyGAgain, do you want to take over with a new name/clue to keep this thread ticking over? Smile

Ellmau · 16/04/2020 23:43

Or I can do one?

She may have been born in 1902, 1911 or 1937. Definitely not a 2020 name.

LadyGAgain · 16/04/2020 23:47

Well done @Ellmau ! I shall enjoy your clue!

LadyGAgain · 16/04/2020 23:55

Elizabeth?

These are the coronation years I think but my brain isn't connecting!!

LadyGAgain · 16/04/2020 23:55

Liberty?

Ellmau · 17/04/2020 00:07

Not either of those.

Ladywillpower · 17/04/2020 06:05

Glad to see this thread up & running again Smile
Corona?

finallychangedmyusername · 17/04/2020 07:57

Thanks for the clue @Ellmau, I shall don my thinking cap!

OP posts:
Ellmau · 17/04/2020 08:41

Very close, @Ladywillpower.

finallychangedmyusername · 18/04/2020 09:54

Cora?

OP posts:
Ellmau · 18/04/2020 11:17

Further away.

finallychangedmyusername · 18/04/2020 16:49

Hmmm intriguing!

Summer?

All the coronations took place in the summer and 2020's summer will be memorable but probably not for nice reasons. Sad

Or Carnation?! (I'm clearly clutching at straws, trying to make names out of Corona/tion). Smile

OP posts:
Ellmau · 18/04/2020 17:50

Way off.

Think a vaguely Italian sound.

finallychangedmyusername · 18/04/2020 18:15

Cecilia? (Meaning 'blind', therefore lacking in 20-20 vision?)

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 18/04/2020 22:38

Chiara? But I don't know whyGrin

Ellmau · 19/04/2020 12:51

No, you're veering away again.

LadyGAgain · 19/04/2020 16:53

Rhona?

finallychangedmyusername · 19/04/2020 20:25

Persephone... bringer of destruction!?

OP posts:
Ellmau · 19/04/2020 20:38

No and no.

Ladywillpower was almost there...

LadyGAgain · 19/04/2020 22:03

Karina

Ellmau · 20/04/2020 00:02

No.

Ladywillpower · 20/04/2020 00:57

Coronatia

finallychangedmyusername · 20/04/2020 07:51

Carolina/Caroline?

OP posts:
Ellmau · 20/04/2020 12:09

@Ladywillpower is very very very nearly right.
