Just looking for inspiration really. Thought I'd try a different approach.
Current DC middle names are Dillon and Morgan.

Only one has one and it's Elizabeth.

DS middle name will be Casey which is my surname.

Zoflorabore · 12/03/2019 14:06

Ds's is Paul after his dad.

Dd's is embarassingly long and doesn't even fit on her passport.
It's Valentine Albertine + one more name with 8 letters.
Valentine was because she was born on 14th Feb and Albertine was my dgm's name.

Ds has my surname (I didn’t take dh’s) Mother’s maiden name very common in Scotland.

Parker231 · 12/03/2019 18:48

Both DC’s have family names as middle names DD Elisabeth and DS Antonie. Neither ever use them as they have very long double barreled non English surname.

ThunderR0ad78 · 12/03/2019 20:52

Alice
Edward

MumUnderTheMoon · 12/03/2019 20:53

Dd doesn't have one. Actually come to think of it neither does my mum or one of my nieces.

Johnathan

Elizabeth

I used my dad's name for my sons middle name although I'm not that fond of the name itself. And my best friend for my daughter (although I loved the name anyway!) I think middle names are for honouring the people close to you (and they never get used anyway!)

Kim82 · 12/03/2019 21:30

My dc’s middle names are:

Christopher
Annie
Lucy
Jessica

DidYeeAye · 12/03/2019 21:38

DS's middle name is Henry. It was the runner up of the names I loved plus his first name is unusual so wanted something traditional he can use if he likes.

pineapplebryanbrown · 13/03/2019 00:01

For me middle names are a lovely way to honour loved ones. My DC have my Dad's names in various combinations.

I don't have a middle name and I've always been jealous of people having a secret and special extra name. Wish I'd given my DC 2 middle names each.

LaPufalina · 13/03/2019 01:28

We have Mary, after my DGM (still with us and a brilliant woman) and Florence (we went there when I was expecting her and it was also my DGGM's middle name). We were going to do similar to a PP and have DH's best friend's name as a middle name if we had a boy, as he's pretty much been a godfather to our eldest but we didn't have her christened.
