Which way would you go and why?

I'd choose Hugo.- siut all ages. Good name. Cosmopolitan.
Conrad I don't like. I think of it as an 80s smarmy man in a suit.

Conrad! Very cool name, could be nicknamed Rad. Hugo is a bit wet and they are everywhere.

Conrad. Cool and handsome (well at least the Conrad at my school was!).

I don't like the sound of Hugo in English, especially the Heeuu part at the beginning.

Conrad reminds me of the boy on Chikd Genius whose mother described herself as ‘mum and manager.’ He wore white suits imported from Spain. Isn’t Hugo the name of someone from Made In Chelsea? That would also put me off.

I know a Hugo, and he is just the loveliest guy.

But irrespective, neither name is particularly attractive. Conrad reminds me of silicon and Amstrad. Hugo is sooooooo.....droopy???

Conrad is definitely not for me. I don’t really like Hugo but it’s better than Conrad.

My DD would have been Conrad if a boy, after Joseph, so definitely that from me.

Hugo for me

I think Hugo is a lot more ‘usual’ than Conrad. At least, I have known (not in the Biblical sense) a lot of Hugos and only one Conrad. I like unusual names and would therefore plump for Conrad, but there’s nothing wrong with Hugo.

Conrad reminds me of the rhyme from Stuwelpeter. Not keen on Hugo.
