What do you think of Renesmae? Unique? Or ridiculous and made up?

YahBasic · 14/02/2019 14:02

Made up from a YA book.

Anotherdayanotherdollar · 14/02/2019 14:03

Well its from a pretty popular film so not unique and well, all names are "made up" at some stage! Wouldn't be to my taste though. Esme is lovely

HollyBen · 14/02/2019 14:03

Seems like more a combination of letters than a name

whymewhyme · 14/02/2019 14:03

Not a good name at all, sorry. Isn't it from the twilight book?

Anotherdayanotherdollar · 14/02/2019 14:03

Of course, book before film! Blush

PCohle · 14/02/2019 14:04

Well people will think you've named your baby after the twilight books. Which would bother me.

punishmepunisher · 14/02/2019 14:04

🤮

CostanzaG · 14/02/2019 14:05

Made up name from Twilight. Not really an actual name.

CarolDanvers · 14/02/2019 14:05

Absolutely not. But this is a joke right?

Talcott2007 · 14/02/2019 14:05

Isn't it a totally made up name from the twilight books? Literally the two names of the girl's mum and the vampire mum kind of jammed together

Cbeebiesrehab · 14/02/2019 15:32

I thought it was ridiculous for a fictional character but it would utterly awful to inflict it on a real life baby (and I am someone who isn’t usually particularly harsh on here)

SilverySurfer · 14/02/2019 17:30

Horrible.

Cheetahssitonfajitas · 14/02/2019 17:32

Thought it was ridiculous even in a book. Would be even more ridiculous to name a living human a name that was weird even in a badly written book.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 14/02/2019 17:34

Nice twist on Renesmee with the a at the end. That definitely makes it
even uniquer.

LoubyLou1234 · 14/02/2019 17:37

I've met a couple of children with this name things to the twilight books Confused

LoubyLou1234 · 14/02/2019 17:38

*thanks

JumpOrBePushed · 14/02/2019 17:39

I would think the parents were massive Twilight fans.

I think it’s an awful name as well BTW.

RiverTam · 14/02/2019 17:41

it was stupid in Twilight and it's stupid in real life.

And why you'd want to name your child after a hybrid human-vampire I can't think!

BlueMerchant · 14/02/2019 17:43

Rene or Esmae maybe but never Renesmae.

Chocolateheaven123 · 14/02/2019 17:43

It's stunning, truly stunning. Definitely use it for a baby. You'll get tons of compliments on such an exquisite name. It's just one of those rare names that take your breath away. Totally workable on a baby, toddler, child, teenager, adult, elderly person. It's absolutely perfect. Stunning.

🙄

MerryMarigold · 14/02/2019 17:43

Never heard of it and zero clue how to pronounce it. Is it Ren-ays-may or Reens-may or Ren-uz-may or any advice with 'my' ending instead of 'may'. Really too many variables.

andantecantabile · 14/02/2019 17:44

It looks like it should be an anagram of something.

TaimaandRanyasBestFriend · 14/02/2019 17:46

Oh, god, whatever happened to Niveah or those hyphenated forenames? Now we've stooped to crap YA novels for names. Sad. No.

ThisMustBeMyDream · 14/02/2019 17:55

I once had an online row with a woman. I then found out her kid was Renesmee. I think we know who came out on top of that "discussion"....

Needadoughnut · 14/02/2019 17:57

Is this for real?
