What do you think of Renesmae? Unique? Or ridiculous and made up?

Ridiculous. It doesn't even sound pretty

I thought It was awful in the book and still think it's awful. Hideous word (it's not a name).

Renesmae however was and still is an AWFUL name. Please don't.

It’s a terrible name, from a terrible book, and it’s not even spelled correctly (it’s Renesmee in the book). So on the upside, yes it will be unique in that spelling.

If by some cruel coincidence you’ve never heard of the Twilight girl and have spontaneously made it up, then be warned that a lot of people seeing it will assume that you have terrible taste in literature and also can’t spell.

It sounds a bit like the noise you make when you inadvertently swallow a button mushroom whole and feel like you are about to choke.

Sounds pretty but looks terrible written.

Esme is a lovely name. Renee is a lovely name. Renesme is an awful sounding name which immediately makes everyone think of a widely hated and mocked YA book. So it's a no from me.

You can't do that to a child. Everyone will know you named a baby after a cringe YA character.
