What do you think of Renesmae? Unique? Or ridiculous and made up?

Joshua, Jay or George ... straw poll please!

buddy79 · 16/02/2019 14:20

Sorry wrong thread - but Renesmae is too out there for me, like a cartoon name, sorry

BruceAndNosh · 16/02/2019 14:34

If your baby is a weird looking CGI creation who nearly killed you being born, yeah, totally go for it

Beetlewing · 16/02/2019 14:42

Renée is nice. Esme is nice. Not so much the two joined together

iklboo · 16/02/2019 14:42

More couples should give their kids portmanteau names!

Kathy and Mark - baby Kark
Grace and Robbie - baby Grobbie
Sebastian and Poppy - baby Seboppy

Ooh good call:

Carl and Tonya - baby Carton
Benny and Linda - baby Benylin
Barry and Connie - baby Bacon

My next door neighbour called her baby Renesmee. Awful.

Tavannach · 16/02/2019 14:53

Renée or Esme. Def not the two together.

CallMeSirShotsFired · 16/02/2019 14:57

Are you having a new indigestion relief medication instead of a baby?

(have never seen twilight, so that link is unknown to me)

Slowknitter · 16/02/2019 14:58

Made up by Stephenie Meyer, but still definitely made up. Personally I think it's a really silly name.

explodingkitten · 16/02/2019 15:45

I thought that it was a pretty stupid name for a fictional character while I actually loved the twilight books. For a real human being to live with that, well....

MyOtherProfile · 16/02/2019 15:58

Before I read the thread and realised it is from a book I spent a few minutes trying to work out what it was an anagram of.

kaytee87 · 16/02/2019 20:48

What about;

Katharine & Elizabeth :Kathbeth
Clare & Emma: Clemma
Jessica & Isabel: Jessisabel

Actually I think my made up names sound more like names.

BartonHollow · 16/02/2019 21:08

Wasn't there someone recently in here who wanted to call her kid

Elizabelle

But wanted it pronounced as in Isobel and wouldn't hear that EVERYONE would automatically go to an Eliza Belle pronunciation and got really huffy.

Bumblebeesmum · 16/02/2019 23:04

Awful
