Rosalie is a lovely name!

Can’t get excited about Blossom, I’m afraid - sounds like a pony.

AromaticSpices · 06/01/2019 08:35

I think you'll find that it's Dolores, and the nn is Lola.

We have 4 tallulahs in our school and 1 blossom, and someone with a sibling called blossom - I don't think you are looking for very unusual names. I would say try and find a name that you love regardless of it being apparently unusual or not. You won't know what the other girls at school will be called and how the trends will change in the next 5 years.
When I named my son I gave him a name that wasn't used much. I chose it because I loved it, not because I wanted something unique. Fast forward a few years and it's one of the most popular names in the U.K lol. You can't tell.

I love the name Tallulah.

Others I would put in a similar bracket would be

Penelope
Heidi
Daisy
Primrose
Florence
Phoebe
Tilly
Tiggy

Please don't call any child Tallulah, it's too cruel

OhioOhioOhio · 06/01/2019 22:29

Dancerz

Hahaha hahaha. That made me really laugh. Hahaha.

AuntieStella · 06/01/2019 22:38

Tallulah is a saint's name, and I think it's lovely

nocluenoidea · 06/01/2019 22:54

Your other daughter has quite a common name so why give your second child a weird one? Seems unfair

sickmumma · 06/01/2019 23:01

Blossom Ivy was the name of my great aunt! I really like it!!

MeMumsMedicine · 06/01/2019 23:07

Don't forget you're just not naming a baby. You're giving a name to a child who will have to go through school with it and then use it as an adult.

Most of the names on this thread would be making me apply for a deed poll to change if it were mine. Why do you wan't to saddle your child with an 'unusual name'?

Reminds me of Kath & Kim - Chlamydia sounds nice, Myorcardial Infarction - sounds exotic.

manicinsomniac · 06/01/2019 23:40

I teach/have taught both an Atlanta and a Tallulah (and that's in a VERY traditional/'posh' school).

Names I've come across that I'd say are unusual and may be the kind of thing you're looking for:
Vega-Vivienne
Karizma
Indianna
Tigerlilly
Nerilly-Jade
Summertime
Blue
Eriskay
Summer-Daisy
Amberley
Fantasy
Persephone
Delphi
Rosina
Averil

A little bit less unusual but certainly not everywhere:
Rhiannon
Juliana
Fenella
Angelica
Calista
Karenza
Octavia
Rosabelle

My pony is called Dolly, she’s a proper nut job, I had some lovely ponies when I was a child called nimrod and mintoe

CruCru · 07/01/2019 22:27

I know of a few girls called Bluebell and Scarlett.

What about Liberty, Verity?

LemonBeachTowels · 08/01/2019 10:44

Vintage
Essence
Cadence

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 09/01/2019 12:42

Demelza
Alina

Suzelle
Etta
Marisa
Leontine

Thesnobbymiddleclassone · 09/01/2019 12:53

Get a kitten. Call it one of those names. Then give your baby a real name

Exactly. People need real names. Save the other stuff for pets and teddy bears

OldMrsMabel · 06/12/2023 17:04

Great colour - painted the play room in it

Doublebiscuit77 · 07/12/2023 14:37

Bluebell
Cherry
Montana
Snow
Vienna
Ravenna
Linnet
Wren
Quinn
Eden
Trixie
Kitty
Flora
Dodie
Teddie
Mirabelle
Coco

Dolly makes me think of Dolly Parton, who is obviously amazing.

Monroe is very harsh sounding; Blossom is better and also more girly if that's what you are after.

Grannyannex · 07/12/2023 17:22

Betsy

Orangeteatime · 07/12/2023 20:19

I was going to say Monroe Belle before I saw you had said Monroe Bella! That's really lovely.
River Beau is definitely a boys name. I love Atlanta but wouldn't have been brave enough to use it.
