Artemis, Allegra, Alethea, Polly, Poppy, Lola, Ariadne, Blodwen, Gwynneth, Primrose, Lin, Florence (nn Flossie)

Clover
Saige
Berry
Tatiana Tati for short

goldengummybear · 04/01/2019 20:53

Blossom is a cow's name imho. Some of your names are more masculine than feminine imo. For example River makes me think of River Phoenix (male) and Monroe makes me think of Marilyn and a not much to live up to if you're not a blonde bombshell.

I reckon you should google My Little Pony names. My suggestions based on your likes

Melody
Honey
Anaya
Cassandra (Cassie)
Annalise
Coco
Celeste
Apple
Luna
Belle
Aurora
Catriona (Kitty)
Melissa (Missy)

Florrie is Scottish Gaelic for Flora.

I loved it but DH didn’t.

Sooo pretty especially when said with a lilt.

I’m Scottish. DH half English so wanted “traditional” names.

Should I LTB for depriving me of a Florrie?

(Love my girls’ actual names though 😊)

So good to see you are having very helpful replies Hmm Mumsnet at its finest!

Anyway, I have Ottilie Marie.
I love Monroe. As for middle name something feminine, rose, lilly etc.

We also had Savanna Raine.

I also love Sia 😊 I'm not much help I know.
One thing I've learnt is it's your baby, you call her whatever you like!

Like blossom

explodingkitten · 04/01/2019 21:28

River is a boys name.

I think that Blossom is a lovely name. I like floral names and I've never met a Blossom. It's easy to spell, works for a girl but also an adult. It's a good name. It's girly but you can still take someone seriously with a name like Blossom.

Regarding Dolly, I've only ever known it as short for Dolores which may be preferable to Dorothy. Please imagine your child as an adult. Trixiebelle- Tallulah is bad on a toddler but considerably worse on a forty year old.

DammitOedipus · 05/01/2019 01:34

Melody Jasmine
Savannah Rae
Liliana Monroe
