Algy pronounce Algae or Algee?

If the former I wouldn’t go with Newt, all sounds a bit pondy!

I haven’t asked you to comment on our existing names. I get that they aren’t to everyone’s taste but they’re our children’s names now. If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it. ‘Poor boys’ is very unnecessary, our children are very loved and cared for.

It’s a tricky one OP. From your list I like Eric the most but it’s pretty close to Ike.

Your names won’t be to many people’s taste on here.

I guess next best is Fabian

I understand if they aren’t to other people’s taste but it doesn’t mean they need to leave comments such as those above.

Fabian I think - I love it! Also like Ned and Phineas, but I think the last one will be a bit too far out to name a child

I feel like I want a 3rd child just so I can call him Fabian!

We don’t mind Ken but worried it sounds like Clem, which is our sons nn. Fabian seems to be the main contender here. Thank you all for the nice replies!

To be fair you did ask people to choose a name from your shortlist, there’s a very fine line between that and commenting their opinions on the names.

Fabian is FABULOUS and feels extravagant so I’d choose Fabian, but I feel it doesn’t really ‘go’ with your existing boys’ names (and I assume you’re taking that into account otherwise why did you share them). I think something more like Malcolm on Julian would go with Algernon and Clement. Good luck! Tricky choice, 4th boy!! Boy names are hard.

In some areas ‘a Ned’ is the same as ‘a chav’ so maybe that’s not the best.

Eric or Fabian are my favourites from your list.
