I like Newton best.

Cbeebiesrehab · 15/11/2018 22:27

Like Fabian and Phineas but Phineas may become Finn/Phin and that feels a bit mainstream compared to your others son’s names-so for that reason I choose Fabian!

Peachbubble · 15/11/2018 22:31

Ned

lebkuchenlover · 15/11/2018 22:58

Fabian and Phineas! Great names.

Cocobana · 15/11/2018 23:07

I vote for Fabian, love it! Ned reminds me of ned Flanders off the Simpson’s,

TatianaLarina · 15/11/2018 23:22

Phineas and Fabian

HildegardVonBlingen · 15/11/2018 23:29

Phineas is a v good name with a good literary 'pedigree'. So I would go for that. If not, Fabian - though I'd be a bit worried about associations with the Fabian Society...

My DS would have been Algernon, had XH not had bad taste in names. My other suggestions, FWIW, would be Augustus, Gaylord, Emmanuel, Humphrey and Horatio. My DS is one of these.

Sophronia · 15/11/2018 23:45

Is Ike short for Isaac?

I like Phineas or Fabian.

Sophronia · 15/11/2018 23:47

Please don’t choose Gaylord! Grin

FrangelicoCandyBoughs · 15/11/2018 23:55

Ike is Isaac on his BC but only called Ike

@Sophronia Gaylord is a fine name, I'll have you know.

SunsetOverEasterIsland · 16/11/2018 23:40

Your children have awesome names and from your list I love Phineas most followed by Fabian. Both go really well with the other names.

Boholover · 16/11/2018 23:49

Fabian

TatianaLarina · 17/11/2018 10:39

Reminds me of a childhood song:

Algy met the bear
The bear met Algy
The bear was bulgy
The bulge was Algy

Astronica · 17/11/2018 11:44

I like Phineas and Ned and think they work best with your boys' names.

lebkuchenlover · 17/11/2018 12:12

I thought Ned was a swear word in Scotland

daisypond · 17/11/2018 12:30

Fabian is fantastic. But it doesn't go with your other DC names, if that matters. Ned is good if short for Edward, etc. I quite like Eric, and I can see the appeal of Newton as well.

HalfBloodPrincess · 17/11/2018 15:18

I have Finneas on my list but am wary of the Finn nickname which I don’t really like.

I love Dennis too, but would he inevitably become Den? Or even worse, Denny?

I’m loving Bartholomew and Balthazar at the moment, but don’t know if it’s just my hormones.

moredoll · 18/11/2018 07:36

Fabian or Phineas.
I like Ned, but I'd go for Edward nn Ned.

AnElderlyLadyOfMediumHeight · 18/11/2018 07:39

Fabian.

AnElderlyLadyOfMediumHeight · 18/11/2018 07:40

I Algy an Algernon?

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 18/11/2018 07:48

Eric or Fabian.

The others are dreadful. What about Gabriel?

SumAndSubstance · 18/11/2018 08:27

Apparently I am the only one who likes Dennis! I think it’s great. I really like all your names, OP. I also like Eric, but agree it’s perhaps a bit close to Ike.

BiggFactHunt · 18/11/2018 08:28

Fabian.

OliviaStabler · 18/11/2018 08:30

From your list I'd go for Eric.
