Classic or hormones?

Hormones

ComeTheFuck0nBridget · 02/11/2018 21:48

I like it!

Onemorefireball · 02/11/2018 21:48

Hormones I hope, unless your baby has done something to really really piss you off!

DramaAlpaca · 02/11/2018 21:51

Hormones! It's clunky & old fashioned, not in a good way.

I wouldn't consider it a classic name. Odd really, given that Thomas is a classic.

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 02/11/2018 21:54

Oh I love it.

But then I wanted to name DS Zebediah or Marmaduke so you possibly don't want to take advice from me.

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 02/11/2018 21:55

I like it, but prefer Thomasine.

ZebraKid71 · 02/11/2018 21:55

I love it!

LassWiADelicateAir · 02/11/2018 21:55

I like it. It's original without being tries too hard, made up or wacky spelling. It reminded me of this book.

Dextrodependant · 02/11/2018 21:55

Only if you hate your baby.... and I say that as a parent of a Thomas.

LipstickTraces · 02/11/2018 21:56

God no!

masktaster · 02/11/2018 21:57

Not too keen, personally, though I'm quite taken by the idea of a little girl going by Tommy, so...

She'd probably never come across another unless there's a drastic popularity change; less than 3 (potentially 0) babies given the name in 2017.

Topseyt · 02/11/2018 21:57

I've never liked it. It sounds as though you hoped for a baby boy to call Thomas, but had a girl instead, so decided to use it anyway and came up with Thomasina.

Shopkinsdoll · 02/11/2018 21:59

Dear god no! Poor child.

LassWiADelicateAir · 02/11/2018 22:01

It is considerably nicer by a long way than the Edwardian char lady names like Ivy, Maisie, Ruby, Pearl, Elsie and Daisy which in 2018 list of most popular names.

Sandsnake · 02/11/2018 22:02

I really, really, really dislike it.

Nothisispatrick · 02/11/2018 22:02

I hate it. One of my most hated girls names ever, along with Arabella.

I generally hate girls names that are just extensions of common boys names.

LassWiADelicateAir · 02/11/2018 22:11

I think it's lovely. I like Arabella too.

SoftSheen · 02/11/2018 22:12

I like it. Makes me think of Thomasina Miers.

missyB1 · 02/11/2018 22:12

Love it!

RolyRocks · 02/11/2018 22:16

It’s a name close to my heart, wink wink! I love it.

ScreamingValenta · 02/11/2018 22:17

I really like this name.

EElisavetaOfBelsornia · 02/11/2018 22:18

Ooh you could shorten it to Tamsin, which is lovely

Santaisgettingbusy · 02/11/2018 22:19

Isn't it a cat?

Unescorted · 02/11/2018 22:19

We use it as a joke name for DS.

mumto2babyboys · 02/11/2018 22:19
