Rufus, Hector or Benedict

My son will be born in February and my surname begins with an R. I like Rufus, Hector and Benedict for different reasons. What do you think?

I love alliteration so I vote rufus!

Rufus is my favourite, Hector is nice too, the only Benedict I’ve known was a terrible person so I just can’t like the name.

Rufus is amazing! Hector is cool but I think it has a negative meaning (I remember the meaning put me off when I considered the name but can't remember why). Benedict is alright but I don't love it.

I thought it did too but I looked it up Hector was actually was the best fighter in Troy but he was fair and noble and a good son, husband and father! I live in Greece at the moment so I like that connection
