What's your initial thoughts on the name Mitzi? Is it too cutesy/girly?

I think it might be a female dog's name. Have known a few 'toy' bred dogs called this.

Not a fan of the spelling although

I knew a horrible mitzi while I was at school. It has put me right off it. And pp is right, it sounds like a toy breed dogs name.

My DM knew someone called Mitzi. If they are still alive they will be very old.

Mitzi is a diminutive of Miriam. I knew a Mitzy in school - Not fond memories.

I would be so embarrassed if this were my name! As a adult woman with a professional job I'd have to change it. It's like calling a child princess or bunny.
