Boy names for triplets please?

Hello,

I'm looking for boy triplets names or ideas, and I'm very open to suggestions because I really have no idea, I'm overwhelmed with the idea of naming three boys. Anyway my DH like name Stephen, and he would like the others two have the same first letter even if there isn't too many names start with S so far. For me I still don't have the name I particularly like, so any names or ideas please?

They don't necessary to have alliteration, or be matchy or vice versa, just would like to know your idea like if you were having triplet boys, what would you name them. And I also don't have any specific ideas, so please help. Very open here.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you!

Worth this bling about the potential for confusion if you give them all the same first initial. Letters arriving for Mr S Surname - how do you tell who it's for? My feeling is that this is just confusing for all concerned!

I wouldn't choose the same letter or sounding names for twins or triplets or any siblings. It makes it even harder or people to remember who is who. Even for you it becomes a tongue twister.

Stephan is quite traditional, so I would choose the other two to be of a similar vibe.

Stephan, Luke and Oliver
Stephan, James and Casper
Stephan, Joel and Arthur
Stephan, Theodore and Otis
Stephan, Vincent and Leonard

Tom, Dick & Harry? Sorry, couldn't resist.

Stephen, Simon, Samuel?

Yakadee · 10/08/2018 15:41

I'm not sure what I'd call 3 although do have some suggestions that I really like that you might like if you like Stephen.

Joshua
Jack
Will
Tom

Boys names starting with an S ;

Sam
Seb
Stan

Just suggestions but thought I'd try xx

Scott, Spencer, Seth, Samuel, Stanley, Shaun are S names with a similar ‘feel’ to Stephen.

More ‘way out’ S names are Sullivan, Sawyer, Sage, Shiloh.

I wouldn’t feel tied to S names though.

WhereIsBlueRabbit · 10/08/2018 15:46

Boys' names beginning with D which you might like:

Samuel
Seth
Saul
Sebastian
Simon

But I agree with others about the shared initial confusion. How about

Stephen, Joseph and Arthur
Stephen, Francis and Michael
Stephen, Peter and Matthew
Stephen, John and Henry

Don’t go for a “theme” names Grin

Yours sincerely, a triplet with a theme name.

Cauliflowersqueeze · 10/08/2018 15:48

Don’t have all three with S names it’s really naff!

Stephen, Robert, Michael.

IggyAce · 10/08/2018 15:48

Stephen, James, Paul
Stephen, Andrew, Michael

If wanting the same first initial how about:
Stephen, Sebastian and Samuel.

If I were having triplets (congratualtions by the way!), I'd go for Leo, George and Jacob. Or, my braver choices would be Sebastian, Raphael and Orion.

George, Henry and Reuben :)

Millipedewithherfeetup · 10/08/2018 16:34

Think that having all 3 with the same initial forename will be very confusing !

Peachbubble · 10/08/2018 16:38

Stephen, Andrew and Robert

BackforGood · 10/08/2018 17:01

I was going to come on and say PLEASE don't give them 'matchy' names. They will go through life being "the triplets" and the worst thing is to add to that lack of individual identity by making them a 'set'.

Your dh's idea is a really bad one.
Long before post, you will have 16+ years of labelling things. You REALLY, REALLY, want them each to have their own letter to identify their things, or just jotting down who is doing what on the calendar, etc.etc.

I like the name Stephen - a good solid, traditional name that doesn't really 'date' anyone.
similar names I'd say are :
Mark, David, Daniel, Andrew, Robert, James, John or Jonathan, Edward, Richard

rainbowstardrops · 10/08/2018 17:11

I wouldn't personally name them all with the same letter because it will cause enormous confusion and also, they might want their own identity and special initials.

Sillybilly1234 · 10/08/2018 17:25

Curly, Larry and Mo.

faithinthesound · 10/08/2018 17:30
