You got it! "Ian" from your clue and the dames are Julie Andrews and Maggie Smith.
A scary Halloween clue! (Omen is obviously the film with that little tinker Damian). Grin

DuggeeHugs · 23/10/2018 08:02

Ha! It took me ages to cotton on to the Dame bit - great clue!

I'm afraid I haven't been

DuggeeHugs · 23/10/2018 08:04

Ugh, that's what happens when a baby kicks your phone!

I was about to say that I haven't been able to come up with a Halloween clue, so have this one instead:

You could have found this name busy with everything from activism in the New World to shining a light on the secret life of animals in the Old.

LadyGAgain · 23/10/2018 22:50

Dawn? Or Glenda?

DuggeeHugs · 24/10/2018 07:03

Neither

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 24/10/2018 09:37

Luther?

DuggeeHugs · 25/10/2018 06:49

No - it's a girls name

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 26/10/2018 12:30

Elizabeth?

DuggeeHugs · 27/10/2018 07:56

Not Elizabeth. Her parentage was more than just royal

OP posts:
nocluenoidea · 27/10/2018 09:50

Teresa

finallychangedmyusername · 27/10/2018 17:50

OP posts:
nocluenoidea · 27/10/2018 23:26

Davina

DuggeeHugs · 28/10/2018 06:55

No. Although I've just realised the fist syllable could be Halloween related

OP posts:
DuggeeHugs · 28/10/2018 07:08

First. Not fist.

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 28/10/2018 09:05

Helen or Helena?

DuggeeHugs · 28/10/2018 11:05

Helen it is @finallychangedmyusername

Helen Keller, Helen Beatrix Potter and the meaning of the name - shining light. Also, Helen of Troy daughter of a queen and a god

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 28/10/2018 17:03

Don't trip up on this colourful, timely girls name.

DuggeeHugs · 30/10/2018 21:47
