Awesome clues @finallychangedmyusername - that was a lot of fun Smile

So, new clue:
With a feline and some vegetables a momentary pause is followed by success

OP posts:
DuggeeHugs · 07/09/2018 08:21

Please pretend I included a comma after 'vegetables'

I keep wondering if there's a name Cat-Pea-Stop-Win. Confused Catpeastopwin, come inside for your dinner!

A million pounds for me if I'm right... Grin

DuggeeHugs · 07/09/2018 17:50

Not a million pounds I'm afraid, but I think you may have named Rumplestiltskins firstborn Grin

Would you like more clues?

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 07/09/2018 18:00

I'm going to suggest Catpeastopwin the next time someone says they want a "unique" name. WinkGrin

Yes please to another clue...

DuggeeHugs · 07/09/2018 18:46

That's a great game idea right there: nominate a name and the best unique spelling/variation wins Grin

Clues then:

The first half of the clue refers to holders of the name. The second half of the clue describes the name. At least one part of Catpeastopwin is there...

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 08/09/2018 11:57

I keep coming back to Christopher....? Kit, contains "stop"?

LadyGAgain · 08/09/2018 13:37

Catniss?

LadyGAgain · 08/09/2018 13:38

Or maybe Katniss

DuggeeHugs · 08/09/2018 13:52

It isn't Katniss it Christopher.

It is a male name.

The first half of the clue is to do with things for which two holders of the name are famous/notorious.

Edward?

diddl · 10/09/2018 16:28

Erwin?

DuggeeHugs · 10/09/2018 21:56

Yes @diddl has it!

Erwin Schrödinger of cat fame. Erwin Rommel, the notorious general whose asparagus caused problems for gliders in WWII. And er...win?

OP posts:
diddl · 11/09/2018 08:03

Hooray! I got one!

Didn't know about the asparagus!

diddl · 11/09/2018 08:24

So, she's happy, a bit of a flower and a player of three notes.

(Not expecting this to take long!!)

DuggeeHugs · 11/09/2018 08:56

Harper?

OP posts:
DuggeeHugs · 11/09/2018 08:57

Or Cordelia?

OP posts:
diddl · 11/09/2018 13:35

Neither of those, but I like the thinking!

finallychangedmyusername · 11/09/2018 14:06

Iris?

DuggeeHugs · 11/09/2018 14:27

Viola?

OP posts:
diddl · 11/09/2018 20:33

Not Iris or Viola either.

finallychangedmyusername · 11/09/2018 21:26

Calla or Calliope?

DuggeeHugs · 12/09/2018 08:39

Harmony?

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 13/09/2018 00:01

Oooh Harmony sounds right!

finallychangedmyusername · 15/09/2018 21:43
