diddl · 07/07/2018 20:14

That's it Duggee

Jean Luc Picard

Jean Dujardin-was in The Artist (mainly slent film)

Jean Alexander-Auntie Wainwright in Last of The Summer Wine.

finallychangedmyusername · 07/07/2018 20:24

Well done @DuggeeHugs Grin

diddl · 07/07/2018 20:29

Interested in how Tiberius fits (other than bold captain)!

DuggeeHugs · 07/07/2018 20:35

Yay! I knew Star Trek would help me eventually @diddl Grin

I was reading about the Roman empire (as you do) and whilst Tiberius was in charge there were two mime riots. The mind boggles.

Anyway, onto a new clue:

Now you know he's of the highest quality you may want him to be your wingman whilst she dances the night away.

finallychangedmyusername · 07/07/2018 22:19

Maverick?

DuggeeHugs · 07/07/2018 22:48

Not Maverick, sorry

Please can I have another clue @DuggeeHugs . I keep going to Maverick too Blush

DuggeeHugs · 09/07/2018 20:14

Sorry @LadyGAgain

Try this one:

Good enough to hang your jewels on, if you're quick

LadyGAgain · 12/07/2018 11:55

You've really got us on this one @DuggeeHugs !

FintyTin · 12/07/2018 18:08

Ace?

DuggeeHugs · 12/07/2018 22:08

Not Ace I'm afraid.

Here's another clue:

They could be the perfect foil to British racing green

OP posts:
finallychangedmyusername · 12/07/2018 22:11

Sterling?

FintyTin · 12/07/2018 22:19

Ooh, I think that must be it, finallychanged!

finallychangedmyusername · 12/07/2018 22:25

I think it fits... Sterling Moss, sterling silver, sterling quality etc etc.... here's hoping!

DuggeeHugs · 12/07/2018 22:46

Yes! @finallychangedmyusername has it Smile

Sterling is the highest quality. Raheem Sterling could be your wingman, whilst Sterling Hyltin is an American ballerina.

finallychangedmyusername · 12/07/2018 23:00

Yay! Great clue @DuggeeHugs, that really got my cogs turning.... Grin

Here's the next one, hope it's a thinker!

Paradise on these soils for this beauty who instructs herself to change to another.

FintyTin · 13/07/2018 10:44

Belinda?

finallychangedmyusername · 13/07/2018 10:49

@FintyTin has it again! Grin

Belinda Carlisle sang that Heaven is a Place on Earth ("Paradise on these soils"); Belinda means beautiful (from bella); She wants to 'Be Linda' ("change to another").

Incidentally, echoing back to @scotstar's original creation of this game (to suggest baby names that posters might not have otherwise considered), I'm always amazed that Belinda isn't a more popular name. It has Belle, Lindy, Bella or Billy as possible nicknames and would be a great alternative to the other ever-popular Bella names (Isabella, Annabel etc). It would be a way to honour a Linda or Bill.

Anyway, musings over, back over to you again @FintyTin...Smile

LadyGAgain · 13/07/2018 11:45

Wow! That was quick. Well done!!
