What do you think of this name?

DramaAlpaca · 16/05/2018 19:23

I absolutely love it.

midsomermurderess · 16/05/2018 19:24

To be honest, I find it a bit dull, to my mind, the same family as Emily.

Dancingmonkey87 · 16/05/2018 19:25

I love it so much my dd is Sophie such a timeless pretty name

Battleax · 16/05/2018 19:26

It’s simple, pretty, and popular.

RavenWings · 16/05/2018 19:27

Very bland and forgettable. Nothing wrong with it really, it's just massively overused.

Jammycustard · 16/05/2018 19:29

Perfectly acceptable

userofthiswebsite · 16/05/2018 19:31

lovely - v gentle

chocolatesun · 16/05/2018 19:32

I think it’s a beautiful name

Downeyhouse · 16/05/2018 19:38

I am a Sophie! My parents were ahead of the trend as I am in my 40s.

It has stood me in good stead and I enjoy having a classic name.

It was very unusual in the 70s and 80s so I always felt a bit special Smile

OhBergine · 16/05/2018 19:41

Very pretty, but dull

Juanitajune · 16/05/2018 19:42

Lovely name

barleyreed · 16/05/2018 19:44

I love it. If DS2 had been a girl he would have been Sophie Elizabeth. I think it's pretty and classic!

Proudmummy2MA · 16/05/2018 19:45

Love it :-)

ILikeMyChickenFried · 16/05/2018 19:46

I think Sophie is lovely it's very popular but I wouldn't let that put you off necessarily.

NoParticularPattern · 16/05/2018 19:47

DD was very nearly a Sophie so we really like it. It might be a bit boring for some, but I think it’s a really pretty name. Plus all the Sophie’s I know are lovely people!

baldisbeautiful · 16/05/2018 19:50

DD1 is a Sophie and is now 20. There were 5 Sophie's in her class at school 😁 but I still love it and am glad we chose it x

JadziaSnax · 16/05/2018 19:52

Lovely name. I am biased though as DD is Sophie.

DramaAtTheTurkeyCafe · 16/05/2018 20:11

I think it's popular for a reason - it's a pretty yet not fussy sounding name, with a good meaning and plenty of history behind it. I like it.

VanessaShanessaJenkins · 16/05/2018 20:16
