Currently on the list are:
Ashley
Blair
Sophia
Alexis
Isabelle
Stella
Caroline
Annabelle
Hayley
Madeleine
Tiffany
Juliet

Our favourites at the moment are Ashley and Blair. What does everyone think? Which are your favourites?

Also, any middle name suggestions?

Won't Ashley and Blair become A and B? As is, Twin A and Twin B? Personally I would avoid.

Sophronia · 10/05/2018 12:50

I love Caroline. Caroline and Juliet, Caroline and Annabelle or Caroline and Stella would be lovely.

Not keen on Ashley, Blair, Tiffany, Alexis and Hayley. They all sound a bit 80s American.

Sophia and Isabelle are nice but very popular. Madeleine is ok but I’m not a fan of Maddie.

Moominfan · 10/05/2018 12:52

I think a n b could come in handy

I like Ashley and stella

Happyandshiney · 10/05/2018 12:53

If you go for Ashley and Blair make sure that twin one is Blair and twin two is Ashley.

It just means that sometimes one is first chronologically and one is first alphabetically.

MiniAlphaBravo · 10/05/2018 12:53

I would go with Juliet and Annabel. Juliet is my favourite. I’m not a huge fan of unisex names really and I definitely wouldn’t want the association with Tony Blair lol. May not be an issue if you’re not in the UK.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 10/05/2018 13:00

To pair them up
Ashley Jade and Tiffany Ray
Juliet Willow and Annabelle Rose.
Madeleine Sophia and Caroline Maria
Hayley Marie and Ashley Paige
Stella Blossom and Blair Ivy
Sophia Grace and Alexis Maude.

Iwasjustabouttosaythat · 10/05/2018 13:08

Stella and Alexis/Sophia.

Just remember you will be stopped 50 billion times per hour by strangers obsessed with twins. Something that rolls off the tongue easily and doesn’t inspire conversation is advisable.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 10/05/2018 13:10

I saw triplets in Tescos. They were like a litter of kittens running around.Grin
Adorable doesn't even begin to cover it.

sonnyboo · 10/05/2018 13:20

All good names. I'd go with your favourites, Ashley and Blair but would name the second twin Ashley!

starkid · 10/05/2018 13:22

Some of the choices are very 80s/American.

I like Juliet and Alexis from your list.

NameChangeCuzImAHorriblePerson · 10/05/2018 13:23

Blair is an awesome name

Isadora2007 · 10/05/2018 13:24

Test how Blair sounds in your local accent as it could be quite “blaaaahhhh” sounding in certain voices.
I like Juliet and Annabelle as they can both be shortened. Though Baby Annabelle the doll is still around so that could be a small annoyance.
Agree that some of the names are a little 80s sounding. Especially Tiffany, sorry.

But I love that you’re not going to use two matching first letters. Not rhyming!

If I had twin girls I would call them Rose and Ella. I think!

MollyHuaCha · 10/05/2018 14:13

Ashley - no
Blair - no
Sophia - lovely
Alexis - very nice
Isabelle - lovely
Stella - no
Caroline - beautiful
Annabelle - lovely
Hayley - no
Madeleine - lovely
Tiffany - no

Cosmoa · 10/05/2018 15:42

I would agree that Ashley and Blair are lovely!

JumpingFrogs · 10/05/2018 15:50

I prefer more classic names so would chose Sophia, Madeleine, Caroline or Juliet. I have twin girls and would echo what a previous poster suggested about naming them in reverse alphabetical order (so Juliet and Caroline instead of Caroline and Juliet). It's meant a lot to my second born twin that her name is often called out first at school etc.

chezmk1988 · 10/05/2018 16:10

Juliet and Isabelle

ILikeMyChickenFried · 10/05/2018 16:14

I did reverse alphabetical order with my twins too, particularly important if you're going for A and B names!

marine04 · 10/05/2018 16:33

I like Stella, Caroline and Juliet from your list. I have twins and Stella was one of my short-listed names but it was vetoed by my husband. I would have paired it with Esme.

Cosmoa · 10/05/2018 17:05

I also like Madeline and Annabelle together!

Happyandshiney · 10/05/2018 17:25

I think that although Madeline and Anna are both girgybanes that they might be hard to say together.

You need to Kew rice shouting whatever you choose from the back door (you’ll be doing it a lot!)

Maddy and Anna or Anna and Mandy is quite difficult to shout (in my accent(

lynmilne65 · 10/05/2018 17:26

Tiffany !ShockEnvySadConfused

Happyandshiney · 10/05/2018 17:26

“Kew rice” autocorrect? Where did that come from? Practice

bridgetreilly · 10/05/2018 17:58

My favourie combinations:
Isabel and Madeleine
Stella and Caroline
Annabel and Juliet

RavenWings · 10/05/2018 18:19

Ashley - meh
Blair - lovely
Sophia - bland and overused
Alexis - nice
Isabelle - also bland and overused
Stella - nice
Caroline - meh
Annabelle - no, too fluffy and frilly
Hayley - ok
Madeleine - ok
Tiffany - ok
Juliet - nice

I'd go for Stella and Blair, Blair and Alexis or Stella and Alexis.

Possible middle names:
Stella Rain
Stella Joy
Stella Lux
Blair Isabelle
Blair Penelope
Blair Evangeline
Blair Madeleine
Blair Anastasia
Blair Carina
Alexis Sophia
Alexis Jade
Alexis Ivy
Alexis Annika

I'd use a very fem middle name with Blair, probably a long one too. I actually think Blair Antonia is beautiful but I'm sure you see the problem with it Grin. Blair Serena is probably also one to avoid!

maymai · 10/05/2018 18:37

I don't think you can have Isabelle and Annabelle together

Stella and Sophia?
Ashley and Alexis
Annabelle and Caroline
Hayley and Tiffany
Isabelle and Madeleine
Juliet and Blair

Personally I don't like Ashley or Blair as they are unisex names.
