OTT totally fabulous girls name

We are expecting DD no 3 later this year and struggling to think of any names!

DH has declared since she is to be our last he wants to go out with a bang and come up with a completely over the top wonderful name.

So out of interest- what girls names can you think of that are a bit OTT. Or names that you would have loved to use but were too scared?

Disclaimer - I still want something pretty but simple so this is more to humour DH :)

ooobisto part of what ott suggests to me is long, multisyllabic, grandiose... I guess it does to a lot of people, hence the long names. My own kids have short names which in two cases are fairly uncommon, yet simple and fairly ordinary. The OP is looking for ott and "fabulous" though!

Someone's actually suggested my name in this thread, which excites me greatly as I never see it suggested (check me out with my fancy OTT name Wink )

soupforbrains · 11/05/2018 16:35

Gosh I come from a throughly traditional family and my first and middle names, my sister's name and both my niece's names have proven popular on this thread. I've never thought my name was fabulous before.

To continue the suggestions may I recomend my childhood favourite baby names...;

Sequin
Tinsel
Confetti
Lettuce
Fifi-Trixabelle
Britannia
and Sally (not sure why I always thought this was an exotic exciting name)

Also those from my adult baby name preferences;
Cordelia
Ophelia
Aurelia
Calliope (Callie for short)
Elodie
and
Etoile

pallisers · 11/05/2018 16:46

Can't believe we've gone 8 pages without anyone suggesting Gloria. Fabulous name!

I'd prefer Glorianna

My name has also appeared on this thread :)

whatwouldkatyactuallydonext · 11/05/2018 16:50

My dd's first and middle name have been mentioned - I'm loving that she will be viewed as fabulous by Mumsnet parents Grin

BasinHaircut · 11/05/2018 17:10

Just call her Sharon and be done with it.

littlepooch · 11/05/2018 18:11

Ive wasted most of my afternoon going through these but its so addictive and the suggestions are brilliant!
DH is properly getting into the spirit and has deemed all of you awesome for coming up with all these suggestions
He's also very smug that some of the names i had vetoed have come up and are therefore fabulous lol.
