We are expecting DD no 3 later this year and struggling to think of any names!

DH has declared since she is to be our last he wants to go out with a bang and come up with a completely over the top wonderful name.

So out of interest- what girls names can you think of that are a bit OTT. Or names that you would have loved to use but were too scared?

Disclaimer - I still want something pretty but simple so this is more to humour DH :)

I also love the name Mercedes

I always think I don't know many n people with out-there names but reading this thread has reminded me that I know:

Kerensa
Seraphina
Persephone
Ariadne
Athena
Lavender
Lux
Elodie (although I think this is pretty normal!)
Angelica (she's Spanish, so not unusual)
Segolene
Sidonie
Fanette
Xanthe (x 2)

So maybe not as run of the mill as I thought! If I'd had a girl us have called her Ines, which I think is unusual but not over the top.

QueenOfThorns · 10/05/2018 20:10

Has to be Titzilla, surely? Grin

EmmaGrundyForPM · 10/05/2018 20:13

My dc were at school with 4 sisters called Octavia , Clemency, Tatiana and Ianthe. They had a younger brother called Augustus.

I've heard the name Celeste a few times so don't think it's too OTT.

How about Bohemia? Or Eglantine?
