Both lovely!! Jealous you're using them, I only have boys and they are some of my top girl choices I haven't had chance to use!!

I prefer Iris, DH Violet. Considered both in the past.

These were our top two names. I loved both but DH slightly preferred Violet so we used that.

It’s so close, Violet was a favourite for me with my dd but it was vetoed by my partner because... Charlie and the chocolate factory. A friend of my has the sweetest little Iris so was never an option for us, but love that too!
I’d say Iris is probably less common so I’d choose that 😀
