Mmc at early stages not too long ago and trying again. Thinking of names for fun very early as find it quite fun! I have loads of names I like but are not usable. Any suggestions?

I like:
Pandora (can't use though)
Iseult
Isis (sadly unusable now)

Ignatius
Atlas (but not brave enough)
Sebastian
Robbie (but can't use Robert so stuck)
Jamie (but dislike James so again stuck)

I absolutely love Isidore for a boy. If I were brave enough..

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 15/01/2018 02:01

You could go with Robin as the full name if you liked Robbie. Or just stick with Robbie.

I like the look of Iseult but wouldn't know how to pronounce it. Pandora is pretty.

MamaMotherMummy · 15/01/2018 02:02

Anastasia
Seraphina
Both GORGEOUS but child will have long double barreled surname so they might be pushing it a bit.

LOVE Isidore. Added to list Smile

I love Pandora too but DP has very bad associations with one so its a no go unfortunately

Robin for Robbie is a good idea

Scarily... You've included both my name and my ex husbands name AND surname on your lists!!! Have you outed me or is that some kind of crazy coincidence?! Shock

Love Iseult, one of my favourites. Prefer it spelt with a Y though.

Love Artemis, Demeter, Io. Like Oriel for a girl. Know an Isidore but he’s French.

I used to really like Pandora until the jewellery brand really took off, now i think its unusable

Iseult is nice enough

Also used to love Isis, but very unfortunately now unusable

A few suggestions; Isolde, Xanthe, Ariadne

From your boys i love Percival (also know 2 Percy's). I prefer Pip as the nickname

I like Sebastian but know loads!

Not a fan of the others. Suggestions; Atticus, Hector, Tristram, Wyatt

PositivelyPERF · 15/01/2018 12:30

Op, you do realise that anyone that knows you will work out who you are from checking that list, don't you? It wouldn't be hard if they check your history. I hope you haven't posted anything too personal under your mumsnet name.

I'm glad you're not using Pandora. I knew one and she would get the smutty inuendo (sp?) about opening Pandora's Box. Hmm

MamaMotherMummy · 15/01/2018 13:16

Positively I'm not too scared about being outed I'm fairly open about things in life anyway. But God that was v weird with the names as we have very unusual names.

Yes I could imagine the Pandora's box association. No fun for a teenager

MrsTiggyWinkle3 · 15/01/2018 13:48

I'm not sure how you're brave enough to use Ignatius but not AtlasGrin.

Love Sebastian.

PositivelyPERF · 15/01/2018 13:57

Glad to read that, OP. I'm just a worrier. Grin I'm now trying to guess your name.

MamaMotherMummy · 15/01/2018 16:11

Haha good luck. I'm not giving you any clues Grin
