Mmc at early stages not too long ago and trying again. Thinking of names for fun very early as find it quite fun! I have loads of names I like but are not usable. Any suggestions?

I like:
Pandora (can't use though)
Iseult
Isis (sadly unusable now)

Ignatius
Atlas (but not brave enough)
Sebastian
Robbie (but can't use Robert so stuck)
Jamie (but dislike James so again stuck)

Love Iseult and Isolde
Also
Guinevere and Gwendolyn. I read that the Gwen-prefix indicates blonde hair?

Your husband has bad associations with the name Pandora? Is his name Adrian, by any chance...?

TatianaLarina · 15/01/2018 16:22

Gwyn means white or bright

StandardRussian66 · 15/01/2018 16:23

Atlas is really cool! Also like Lazarus.
I would love to be able to call my sons Lucifer and Salem, but they are not good names for a child, so for my cats instead Grin

I love Ignatius. Atlas is a big name to carry.

BeyondThePage · 15/01/2018 18:48

I think Horatio is a fabulous name.

Harebellmeadow · 15/01/2018 19:59

Horatio sounds very handsome.
Would have been obscure were it not for a certain tousled maritime hero.

KathyBeale GrinGrinGrin 'I have still never seen a dead body or a live female nipple. I blame my parents. That is what results from living in a cul De sac.' I might be paraphrasing somewhat but that always makes me laugh

If you like lucifer what about Lucian?

Artemis
Persephone
Thalia

Lucian
Sebastian
Xavier

MamaMotherMummy · 15/01/2018 20:07

Phoenix is lovely.

I love Fox but don't think can get away with it. Your Lucan reminded me of Lucius which I love despite because of Lucius Malfoy. Have loved the name Sirius for ages because of the Dogons not HP.

I wanted to call ds1 Seraphine if he had been a girl, I liked Persephone but didn't want to risk it being said 'purse-phone'.
I also liked Castiel (Cass) for ds3 because of supernatural.
Sabriel and Lirael I also really liked for dd but DH isn't into the books.
