Finally feeling brave enough to post in this section, I know opinions can be brutal here Grin

DS2 is due in 9 weeks and we're debating between Axel and Kasper.

Our family is half Norwegian and our eldest two have Norwegian names.

Which do you prefer?

I'm totally torn. I had my heart set on Kasper since I was pregnant with my daughter but recently heard Axel and thought it sounded awesome!

Kasper is awesome.

I don’t like Axel at all. It’s harsh-sounding and it reminds me of a car part.

They're both awesome! At a push I'd go for Kasper but I love them both. Congratulations on your imminent arrival!

Kasper 100 x over, lovely name! Axel makes me think of Rose which is cool but uncool of you know what I mean Grin

I'm assuming they are both 'real' names but Axel sounds make e up e to me. I'd go with Kasper
