Middle name for Fawn

Hello all

I am set on Fawn as a first name for my first baby girl, does anyone have any middle name suggestions?

I like everything natural and botanical but as Fawn is already a little unusual I don't want anything too unconventional for the middle name.

I also like retro and classic style names

The only combo I have right now is Fawn Ava

I really like this but has already been Eva's and Ava's around us last few years.

Also like

Fawn Adele - partner doesn't like
Fawn Bluebell - too hippy?
Fawn Honey - unsure
Fawn Evelyn - good
Fawn Adeline - too unusual
Fawn Lily-Rose - good
Fawn Florence
Fawn Felicity
Fawn Poppy
Fawn Opal
Fawn Tigerlilly
Fawn Delilah
Fawn Rosalie
Fawn Laurel - too masc?
Fawn Autumn - know a baby Autumn already

Keen to use a variation of lily if poss

I know a lot of the above don't flow well just giving examples of the style I like

Please help xx

Yeah fawn is my slightly derogatory word for beige.

I think I'd go with it as a middle name and nickname at home & have a grownup first name.

The names on your list are all nice and would sound good with Fawn as a second name, other than Autumn or Honey Fawn which sound like fabrics/paint colours.

“Fawn, sorry did you say Thorn” that’s all she’ll get on the telephone. Sorry

NinonDeLenclos · 07/11/2017 14:53

Or Dawn.

Thanks Soubriquet, lovely xx

blackandgreen I agree with you entirely. I have an unusual name, associated with a film that kids just wouldn’t have watched or known about. I was teased because of this association and it can only have come from adults taking the piss out of it in the presence of their kids.

SoupDragon · 07/11/2017 14:57

I agree with the poster who said they all sound better with Fawn as the middle name.

I've been muttering names to myself for a while though and Fawn Alexandra seems to flow. Elizabeth and Louisa do too - maybe the middle name needs to be 3+ syllables to flow.

Ukfirsttimemum · 07/11/2017 15:01

Agreed blackandgreencore, I'm not worried about adults at all, just at school. Maybe Faune spelling is going to be a better option or Fauna.

I dont mind Fawn. I know a 1 year old Fauna which is quite nice too

I'd say Fawn Lillian - close to Lily but longer so flows better or Fawn Lillith. For those saying it sounds harsh. I dont see this as it's very similar to Dawn which has a well used name a few decades ago

OliviaStabler · 07/11/2017 15:35

I like Fawn Bluebell

GoingCrazy21 · 07/11/2017 15:37

I just want to put it out there that Fawn Ava sounds a little like 'fawn over'. Not sure if anyone else has pointed this out.

Fawn is pretty, though. How about:

Fawn Olivia
Fawn Louise/Louisa
Fawn Elizabeth

I like the slightly unusual paired with traditional.

Shiela2017 · 07/11/2017 15:37

Fawn Evelyn is lovely!

IamEarthymama · 07/11/2017 15:37

Fawn Lilith is lovely
I really like this name

Shiela2017 · 07/11/2017 15:38

What about Fawn Aurora

Ledehe · 07/11/2017 15:38

I think Fauna is lovely.

Fawn is a baby deer or the colour beige or to fawn over

Faun is a half man half goat

Ukfirsttimemum · 07/11/2017 15:54

Thanks all really helpful xx

I like Fawn Bluebell, pretty and unusual.

Also like Fawn Waterlily, or Fawn Monet?

KathyBates · 07/11/2017 17:21

Fawn Evelyn and Fawn Rosalie are my faves. Fawn Vivienne?

KathyBates · 07/11/2017 17:21

Fawn Lillian

EvilCleverDog · 07/11/2017 17:28

I wouldn’t have an ‘A’ middle name as it will run together
