Unisex name help

we've named our baby girl Finley but struggling with a middle name that we both love
My favourite is Grace however my partner is not as in love as me
Looking for any other ideas..
Big sister is Millie Rose so can't have Rose

I know not everyone is a fan of unisex names but we really love them and had Bobbi, Charley, Noa, Parker and spencer on our list before falling in love with Finley

Unisex is suitable for both sexes/gender

I'm aware not everyone is a fan however my name is Kelly, my sisters name is Robyn, my dads name is Leslie, hubbys name is Bobby and they are all 'suitable for either sex'.. whether others like it or not they have been used for both genders

Finley is not a unisex name. Grace is not a unisex name. Belle is not a unisex name.

Robyn is not a unisex name: Robyn is a girls name and Robin is a boys name. Leslie is a boys name, Lesley is a girls name.

Finley is a unisex name, again not everyone will agree however it's on every unisex name list online that I searched and I got it from a unisex name book which stated Finlay masculine Finley feminine..
Oh sorry I should have said I want a feminine name to go with my baby girls unisex first name.. I think Grace is very feminine like my other daughters middle name Rose.. thanks for pointing that out and I will edit my post to 'feminine middle name for unisex first name'
Oh and I went to school with a girl Leslie, different spelling doesn't make the name Robin/Robyn sound any different..

Just because you clearly don't like the name doesn't mean I'm wrong in saying unisex means suitable for both genders

which makes it NOT UNISEX. A unisex name is a single name that can be a boy or a girl. Sam, for example. If you have a female version and a make version, it isn't unisex.

I like the name, but that isn't the point!

I always thought of Finley as a girls name. Probably because the first one I ever came across was Finley in Home and Away. (Irene's daughter)

However I am going to disagree as it's still the same name just slightly different spelling, it doesn't make the name sound any different
For e.g my sisters little girl is Charley, does that mean her name isn't unisex because it's not spelt Charlie
Also I know a little girl Bobbi, I still see her name as unisex even though it's not Bobby if you understand where I'm seeing it from? Just because the book told me Finley was more feminine than Finlay I don't think it changes the fact it's the same sound.. but that is only my opinion and I understand you have yours! I know a female Fynley who is in her 20s and a teenage Fynlei (I'm not a fan of the last spelling personally) but they love their 'unisex name'

Anyway I'm really not here to debate I only wanted suggestions for a middle name (which I know I should have stated I was looking for a feminine middle name) could I ask you if you like Finley Grace or have a suggestion of anything else?

I think the point is if you have a girl and a boy Lesley you won't know how it's spelled, the unisex element comes from the pronounciation I guess.

The first Finley I ever heard was Irene's daughter in home and away too, I didn't think anyone would remember as it was early 90s 🙈 I always remember her blonde hair and big fringe! I do know a few female Finley's (variation of spellings) ranging in ages from 2-27 and I love it for a girl but do get that its popular for boys hence wanting a really girly middle name to balance it out :)

Finley is a great name. I'm not keen on Grace personally, due to the risk that they turn out not at all graceful, but if you're confident that your DC has graceful genes (iyswim) that might be different.

Have you ever had people say 'oh you have a boys name? Or hated your name growing up?! All our family and friends love Finley for a girl and I've had no bad comments until I commented on a mums forum where everyone seems to hate unisex names 🙈

My hubby really likes Finley Monroe but I'm not sure if that's too much unisex
If you saw Finley Kate, Finley Mae, Finley Rose, Finley Grace etc you wouldn't assume boy but I'm thinking because Finley is more common for boys you would assume boy with Finley Monroe or does anyone see Monroe as more feminine?

If I saw a Finley Monroe and a Millie Rose, I'd assume Finley was a boy and Millie was a girl. They're just too different in style.

The reason why Grace is my favourite is because I think Millie Rose and Finley Grace sound good together
Rose and Grace are also family names but my partners just not as keen on the name Grace, I like that Rose and Grace are very feminine names but quite like the suggestion of Jade as then Rose and Jade are both colours 😊
I also like Belle but then her name would be Finley Belle Turnbull which I think is too sounding the same with my surname
I do really want her to have a middle name!
