Hey! Already have a little boy, he's 5!

Expecting twin girls in October & toying with names we like but need oppnions as our family don't know the genders πŸ™ˆ

We really like Everly & Spencer, but we just aren't set and want something that jumps out at us. Not too matchy they aren't identical.

Everly and Mia Wink just saying that cos I watch a YouTuber with those twins? Maybe it's a different one Grin

Everly & Parker is cool! V American! I like that though but MN in general will not Grin

Lemondrop99 · 21/06/2017 16:15

Spencer strongly feels like a boy's name to me.

Everly is nice

I love Ottilie and Genevieve

Do you like Aubrey?

Flowerpower321 · 21/06/2017 16:18

I also have separate placenta identical twins (paid for the DNA test)- don't assume they're fraternal!

user1459464195 · 21/06/2017 16:29

OK some suggestions with Everly:

Everly and Riley
Everly and Rowan
Everly and Hadley
Everly and Quinn
Everly and Shelby

DontMentionTheWar · 21/06/2017 17:19

Ottilie and Genevieve are so much classier. Spencer is just awful and Everly sounds like a made up name to me. Ivy is a 'proper' name in my opinion and much better. How about AmΓ©lie?

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 21/06/2017 17:26

Everly sounds like you're saving Beverley too fast. Spencer is a surname.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 21/06/2017 17:42

I like Everley, but not Spencer, as to m it's a boys name.
Suggestions;
Cameron
Dylan
Harlow
Storm
Roxanne

lorelairoryemily · 21/06/2017 17:46

Sailor would be nicer than spencer I think. Someone else suggested darcie, Sailor and Darcie are lovely together imo

nooka · 21/06/2017 18:03

Sorry OP I'm afraid I don't like either name choice. If I was told about children called Everly and Spencer I would totally assume they were both boys. I only know male Spencers, can't imagine it on a girl, just seems odd. Everly looks like a typo, with either a missing 'B' for Beverly or a missing 'n' for Evelyn.

I like unusual names but really don't like surnames for first names or boys names for girls. Your middle names are lovely

LorLorr2 · 21/06/2017 18:10

Channing Tatum & Jenna might have given Everly more attention as a name as they gave it to their daughter which is where I first heard it from, so I think I've always found it nice because I associate it with this lovely picture of them πŸ˜‚

It's the same YouTuber πŸ˜‚, That's where I got the name from think it was her names we love and won't be using vlog!

I love rowan, that's so unsusal!

Didn't presume they were fraternal this was what I was told, as previously stated the lady who posted a really useful link said some medical professionals aren't aware of this πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ.

I think we are dead set on Everly Genevieve! But so far I'm loving Ivy & Sailor.

Thanks for all the suggestions though ladies some names I haven't even came across πŸ™ˆ.

And as previously stated I'd loved to call one of the girls Ottilie but my husband hates it 😞. He thinks it sounds strange with our surname!

DawnOfTheMombie · 21/06/2017 18:47

I know quite a few twin girls

Jessica & Olivia
Annie & Billie
Emma & Katie
Molly & Bethany
Ada & Ivy

MollyHuaCha · 21/06/2017 19:25

Everly and Beverly?

Muumi3 · 21/06/2017 19:46

Everly and Mallory
Everly and Isley (eyes-lee)
Everly and Savannah
Everly and Rowena

IHaveACrapCat · 21/06/2017 19:52

Everly and islay would be amazing! Especially if you were Motown fans!

Everly genevieve & ivy ottilie are lovely choices, I don't think it matters that they may become a bit matchy with Evie and Ivy

Other ideas:
Everly genevieve and

Rowan ottilie
Mallory ottilie
Seraphina ottillie
Willow ottilie
Darcy ottilie

missadasmith · 21/06/2017 21:00

Spencer is awful for a girl.

Ivy is nice but too close to Everly. It is really a mouthful.

Rowan is great for a girl.

If you like unisex names, have you thought about Robyn?

Amee1992x · 21/06/2017 21:50

It's not even so much unisex or surname type names I like on purpose it's just what I'm gravitating towards never knew everly was unisex as I'd only heard of one girl called it. Iv got an aunt Robyn 😊

OP posts:
SaltyMyDear · 21/06/2017 21:58

If your dog is Avery I don't think you can use Everly.

Nor do I think you can use Everly and Ivy.

You seem to like plant name so (Ivy, Rowan) so what about Juniper or Willow?

Amee1992x · 21/06/2017 22:03

We are using Everly. Nah it's nothing to do with plants I just thought when someone shared their Ivy suggestion it went great with our chosen middle names. I'm sure when we see of hear the name we will know πŸ™ˆ

leannejade · 21/06/2017 22:07

Spencer is cute!
I'm a fraternal twin - our names are Stacy and Leanne..they don't need to match! Just names that flow nicely as they'll be said together A LOT.

FlamingoSanDomingo · 21/06/2017 22:09

Sorry, but Everly and Ivy together makes me think of the song 'Ebony and Ivory...together in perfect harmony... 🎼'

Amee1992x · 21/06/2017 22:10

Yeah Leanne I'm not worried about them being matchy I want them to be their own person, I haven't even bought matching outfits either just corrdinates πŸ™ˆ! I'm excited for twin life πŸ’•πŸ’•

chelseapritch · 21/06/2017 22:21

I really don't like Spencer, it is a boy name

I like twin names that are alike. My twin sister's are called

Lilly and Ellie

Think they're just bwautoful, they're also fraternal twins.

leannejade · 21/06/2017 22:21

I bet! They'll have an amazing friendship with a doting big brother (who I'm sure when he gets a little bit older will all drive each other mad!).
Really like the names you suggested, I wouldn't be deterred by them being classed as surnames (although I have considered giving my boy my surname when he's born as he's taking my fiancΓ©'s for his surname!)
