Having baby today- no name if a girl

I have two DDs already, one flower name, one Irish name. Both have family names.

Names I like but can't use: Iris, Clover, Joni, Orla, Roisin, Ann/Annie, Nancy, Alannah, Cecilia, Ivy, Violet, Olivia, Ella, Rose...

I would like an Irish name (have Irish surname) but at this point we don't even have a short list of names.

Please help! I am a desperate non-sleeping pregnant lady.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Raines, Nainsì is just the Irish spelling of Nancy, the fader on I changes the pronounciation. Someone less Post baby labour brained will come along and explain properly I'm sure.

We have a little girl! So a Nainsì Jane. Thanks so so so much for all your help! You helped me realise how. Much I loved Nainsì and made me feel better about sticking to a traditional name.

Wonderful mumsnetters! It's been a hard few days with induction pushed back and back...but baby here now and all in wonderful.

Really lovely that you've come back to tell us the name you've chosen.

EatSpamAmandaLamb · 11/02/2017 12:47

Lovely name, congratulations on your new arrival. Irish fadas go in the opposite direction to the one in your post, I know keyboards can be fiddly but just wanted to let you know before you register the name.
