Been a while since I posted one of these threads.
The government has passed a new law - you MUST name your children after a North London borough.

What would you choose?

You must choose one boy and one girl.

Official rules allow hyphenation, but no shortening of the name.

Special North London Borough Rules - Boroughs with "and" in the name, may be split into separate names (e.g. Dagenham and Barking, you can choose either Dagenham or Barking)

Barking and Dagenham
Barnet
Brent
Camden
Ealing
Enfield
Hackney
Hammersmith and Fulham
Haringey
Harrow
Havering
Hillingdon
Hounslow
Islington
Kensington and Chelsea
Newham
Redbridge
Tower Hamlets
Waltham Forest
Westminster

How are you defining North London - anything north of the river? Richmond upon Thames covers both sides of the river, that would make a passable name...

Ktay · 13/01/2017 09:25

(The Richmond bit I mean. If this really became law)

I hate North London so I'd break the law Grin.
Kensington and Chelsea and Westminter is not North London either. I was born and bred in SW3 and went to school in SW1, North London indeed, how very dare you Wink

Bundao · 13/01/2017 09:51

Tower Hamlets and Ealing Confused how exactly are you defining North London? Looks a bit discombobulated to me!

OneWithTheForce · 13/01/2017 09:53

I have no idea about any of these places but Hounslow looks like a fun name Grin
